XBG Token Launch Proposal: CEX vs DEX 🟥
We are suggesting an alternative launch strategy for the $XBG token via a governance proposal:
Whether to launch via a centralised exchange or to launch on-chain initially with 100% community-raised token unlocks.
Why?
- Leading gaming token launches have performed poorly regardless of launching on top CEXs
- It costs a significant amount of USDT and XBG to launch with a CEX
- Low float, high FDV doesn’t attract marginal buyers
- We could list on CEXs post-launch with better terms
The XBorg Improvement Proposal #14 highlights what we believe are the advantages and disadvantages of both options and their respective strategies. Community Seed round, KOL round and Presale investors will be able to vote during the 7-day period starting this Wednesday, based on their XBG and XBorg NFT holdings.
