Hey everyone 🤍 ##

I wanted to take a moment to share an update regarding the upcoming event schedule. All 7pm events will still be hosted as originally planned, and I’m really excited to continue those with you. However, I will be removing the 10am events for tomorrow and for the third day. I’m still in the process of recovering from being sick, and Im feeling a bit overwhelmed, so taking this step will allow me the time and energy I need to properly recover while still being present for the main events.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. I also want to acknowledge today’s events everyone who attended will be compensated for the technical difficulties that occurred as well as for the last minute cancellation. Thank you for being so kind and supportive through all of that; it genuinely means more than you know.

Your support and flexibility make it possible for these events to continue in a positive and enjoyable way, and I’m incredibly grateful for this community. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all at the 7pm events tomorrow and on Wednesday, and I can’t wait to spend that time together. Here’s a quick refresher on how we can all help keep the server running smooth as butter 🧈

🐾 Entity & Floating Item Culler
- Our LagLimiter clears excess mobs and floating items every few minutes.
- Anything nametagged will not be removed — nametag what you love!
- Lost items can be recovered with /abyss for a few moments after a lag clear.

⚡ Redstone & Farms
- Large redstone devices can cause major lag.
- If your contraption stops working, try:
- Spacing farms at least 2 chunks apart
- Reducing hopper chains (use water/ice instead!)
- Limiting signs & item frames to essentials
- Make sure every farm has an on/off switch or a way to disable it so it's not running non stop.

🌾 Bonus Tips
- Keep mob counts reasonable in each area.
- Avoid massive particle effects or constant redstone loops.

The original bank notes will still work until they're all exhausted but we'll start seeing Wildflowers being phased in so don't panic when you see them! Use them the same as you would a banknote.

The holiday magic has officially arrived beneath our Christmas tree! I’ve placed all the presents under the branches, each one wrapped with care and marked with a little sign showing the gamertag of the person you’re gifting.

Please head over, find your person’s present, and place your items in the hopper, which will gently carry everything down into the barrel below like a tiny North Pole delivery chute!

When the time comes for everyone to open their gifts, each player will get to break their present and reveal the surprises waiting inside. It’s going to feel like our own little Christmas morning together!

To get there easily, just use /warp Christmas and you’ll be taken straight to the tree, glowing with lights, gifts, and holiday cheer.

Introducing Wisterwild's new Post Office!

As we continue to grow, our current setup (the looooooooooong hallway of barrels and signs) has started to create lag, not to mention we will be running out of physical room. It’s time for an upgrade!

We are moving to a Central Post Office system that is cleaner, faster, and completely crossplay-friendly.

How it Works

Head to /warp spawn and look for the Post Office. Simply interact with the Copper Chest inside to open the menu.

To Send Mail:
1. Click "Send Mail" in the menu.
2. Type the player's Gamertag in chat.
3. IMPORTANT: Once the system finds them, Close your Chat and Crouch (Sneak) to open the sending menu.
(This ensures Bedrock players don't get stuck in the chat window!)

To Receive Mail:
* Simply click "Check Inbox" to grab your items.
* Note: Your mailbox is created automatically the first time you log in. If you are online right now and don't see it, try relogging!

Key Features

• Smart Search: The system now auto-detects Java vs. Bedrock players! You usually don't need to type the . prefix, but if the system can't find your friend, try adding the dot (e.g., .turanga3000).
• 14-Day Expiry: All mail items expire 14 days after being sent. Additionally, inactive players (offline for 14+ days) will have their mailbox purged automatically. Please log in and check your mail regularly!
• Lag Free: No more endless barrels means a smoother experience for everyone at Spawn.

Come visit the new Post Office today!

Please note, the old Post Office will be purged 14 days from today (after 12/25). Any items left in mailboxes will be wiped out so please clear your old mailbox and begin using this new setup

Geyser is working hard to fix allllll the lovely mess brought on by Mojang. As promised, I have been reporting every bug I see. At this point, 99.9% of all bugs have already been reported.

🛑 PLEASE READ BEFORE OPENING A TICKET To prevent the support team from drowning in duplicate alerts: Please do not open tickets or tag staff regarding Bedrock/Geyser glitches right now.

We are aware of the issues. We cannot fix them until the plugin updates.

Wisterwild - Minecraft Crossplay Server

The following commands have been added to the panel:

• /lands unclaim
• /lands upkeep

I'm not able to add any that require additional input (such as /pay or /lands deposit ) but this should handle the most challenging concerns while we await Geyser's update on commands.

Joking aside...

Hopefully this will help curb some repeat questions:

Q: What version do I need to be on to join?
A: Wisterwild runs Java version 1.21.100 and allows all versions of Bedrock to join, which includes today's 1.21.130 release

Q: I'm getting a "Server outdated" error and can't connect
A: This error should be stemming from one of the Realms used to connect. We do not control the realms that are used to connect to Wisterwild and have no control over how quickly they update. Once you can connect to Bedrock Connect, The Hub, or any of the other hubs listed in !ip, you will be able to connect to the server. Try the other methods as they may be up to date.

Q: Will we have the new Mounts update?
A: No. Most of our plugins will not see any updates for at least a month so we will not have the new mounts update until then (otherwise we face crashes, insane lag, and unplayable chaos)

Q: What bugs are we currently aware of?
A: Commands!
- Bedrock players will receive the error "Cheats aren't enabled in this world" when typing any commands in chat.
- Geyser is aware and has currently DISABLED commands for Bedrock

Q: So, what's the solution?
A: Geyser has no solution so I am going to work on a player panel menu to hopefully include more of the same commands you would typically type such as /lands claim and /lands unclaim and more. The panel runs commands through the console, not chat, so you should be able to use all Player Panel buttons just fine. Use the panel.

If you come across anything else that does not work, please open a Mystic Maintenance Ticket. Please note I have a LONG LIST of items to report back to plugin makers and most errors may not be updated immediately. Once I have logged the error you notify me of I will close the ticket.
