We have a new Mod-in-Training, @Beautiful Creatures!

Everyone please give a nice round of applause, a hearty congratulations, and a very warm welcome to @BlazingFrost19 in his recent promotion to Mod-in-Training AKA Squire!

For the next 1-2 months you'll see him in VCs and the chat channels, helping us to keep the community a welcoming space of fun, sarcasm, jokes, and just... what fits the bill. We're so excited for this new chapter!

Have you ever thought about helping around in the community?

We have #staff-applications open for new mods (starting at the training stage and moving up) as well as recruiters -- but we have other roles we'd love to add to!

If you like to host or help plan events, we have an entire @Event Ops team (combined with our staff, of course) that is always looking for more people to help out -- just send us a message by DMing @ModMail or you can also just #open-a-ticket!

We are also looking at starting a new Crisis Crew -- our go-to people in the time of a mental health crisis. This role is very serious, so I don't want anyone to take it lightly -- please make sure that you have the capacity to listen and be there for others if you consider taking on this role. While we do have outlets for stress in #the-vent-room😤 and #secret-secrets-are-so-fun (this can be fun secrets, too, not just the monsters in our brains) -- we also know that some people may need a real person to reach out to. If you feel you have the capacity to support others in this way, please reach out to myself or #open-a-ticket to request being added to this role.
