Mira Bai in her work called “Ab To Hari Nam Dhun Lo Lagi.” Between Verses 3-4, states:

syama kisor bhaye nava gora, caitanya jako nam! pitambar ko bhava dikhavai, kati kaupina base, gaur krsna ki dasi mira, jasa na krsna bane na bane! ab to hari nam dhun lo lagi!

“My Dark Beloved has now reappeared as the newly fresh Golden Lord Whose blessed Name is ‘Caitanya’! Though clad Himself in skimpy rags, His pitambara (yellow divine attire) as well as His inner most divine love sentiments are revealed to me. Now Mirabai is the maid-servant of the Golden Krsna Caitanya, whether the glory of My Krsna is recognized by all or not!”

This answer will provide only those references from the scriptures which are not lost yet, because skeptics doubt the authenticity of lost one’s, although we consider them equally authentic. In the end of the answer, the authenticity of the lost verses, and also the authenticity of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s biographies will be established.

Swetaswatara Upanishad 3.8 mentions Purusah as one with ‘Aditya Varnam’, ‘Aditya’ is sun, ‘Varnam’ means complexion, i.e. Golden or yellowish complexioned Lord. Opponents claim that this doesn’t mention Mahaprabhu, for other deities also display golden like complexion and luminosity. They further argue, that ‘Aditya Varnam’ can also be interpreted as “One who is as bright as the sun.” But using argument from context and argument from probability, we understand it’s speaking of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Immediately three verse after 3.8, i.e. Swetaswatara Upanishad 3.12, the speaker calls this purusah as “Mahan Prabhu”, (mahān prabhur vai puruṣaḥ sattvasyaiṣa pravartakaḥ). To find terms like ‘Aditya Varnam’ & ‘Mahan Prabhu’ in the same book, same chapter, same exact context, increases the probability towards the beautiful son of mother saci.
