Yeah, I felt like the flash of racoon city + showing old Leon was kinda a nod to Leon fans from the RE2 and RE4 back to back remakes "We got you" So it felt like they made one of their weird CGI RE movies into a video game.

I really feel that making a CGI movie that's based on earlier RE games would be nice. So far all the movies that are post-RE6's release are just too goofy and silly while trying to be serious
It's kinda ironic that of all the CGI ones, I still like the first one, Degeneration the most. Because it's the one that looks the least good in terms of how they modeled and rendered the people
But the way things turned out don't seem stretched so far that they look super silly
I feel like who gets the cgi movies try to hard to give the characters plot armour in the Hollywood style. Which by all means embrace the characters but make them more like the games. If DOOM taught us anything it's that we love seeing video game shit on the big screen.
