VGC Team Building: Mega Salamence Core Strategy Guide

Hi all!
I'm preparing for this weekend's tournament, this is where i am.
The idea is to use Whimsicott + Incineroar + Rillaboom to control positioning and speed, then create openings for Mega Salamence to do most of the heavy lifting. Metagross helps into Fairy-heavy teams, while Primarina gives me a second special attacker and a much better way to play into slower teams / Trick Room.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on the overall team structure rather than just individual sets: whether the six work well together, if I’m too dependent on Salamence, any major matchup or coverage holes, and whether any slot feels redundant or could contribute more to the team’s win conditions. Also very open to smaller move/item/spread changes if you think they solve something specific.

Also, I'm starting to feel as I play longer, that Rillaboom is just there for 2 very specific reasons: Basculegion and Terrain. Basculegion is losing terrain (at least at my side of the ladder), and there are other terrain options, so... just early thoughts.

Notes accepted!!!

Mega Blaziken VGC Team Building Guide | Pokémon Champions

im borrowing this account from a friend since i dont have discord and need help building a blaziken team because i dont like zard y.
main goal is to let mega blaziken sweep, he matters the most so keeping him alive is a must but difficult because of his defenses
most difficult matchups are salamence because of ohkos with flying type moves, and golisopod because of a few reasons; gpod is sometimes in rain, flare blitz doesn’t ohko because of its defenses, etc.
farig is here to counter trick room, kingambit to counter intimidate/ discourage incin, basc for late game sweep, sneasler for annoying fairies, and big chomp because big chomp
i’m fine with changing the team however, as long as i keep mega blaziken.
i have a lot of mons availible so don’t worry about getting new ones

Mastering Perish Trap: VGC Team Building Guide

Big dump of a Perish based box I made with all of the mons, and some with different variations, that I believe are all good for perish trap teams. Obviously some are better than others but let me know what you think and if I should drop anyone for another mon, same thing about EVs and items.

Mega Mightyena Concept: Stats, Ability, and VGC Strategy

Mega Mightyena: Dark Type

Gains larger ears and tail. Mightyena is noticeably larger and has fur flowing similar to Snoutland but less hairier. Its claws are larger and more refined and sharper and the dark triangle under its eyes is larger and a larger triangle appears on its front.

HP: 70
Attack: 140(+50)
Defense: 75(+5)
Sp.Atk: 60
Sp.Def: 70(+10)
Speed: 105(+35)

Ability: Strong Jaw

I believe this will finally allow Mightyena to see some play into action with 105 speed by passing Garchomp and Strong Jaw Ice Fangs are going to hurt with that 140 Attack. Let me know what you guys think.

Mega Quagsire and Clodsire

Mega Quagsire:

Gains a larger tail and body but more importantly, its mouth is HUGE. This thing looks like G-Max Gengar but it’s Quagsire. I aim for this design based on Quagsire’s Pokédex entry, specifically the Ruby and Sapphire one.

HP: 95
Attack: 115(+30)
Defenses: 115(+30)
Sp.Atk: 95(+30)
Sp.Def: 95(+30)
Speed: 15(-20)

Ability:(I am very uncertain as to if I want to give Mega Quagsire a broken ability which is Sap Sipper or just Unaware, what do u guys think)

Mega Clodsire:

Mega Clodsire is obviously more fat and chubby. It can finally show off those poisonous spikes hiding in its body while staying absolutely cute. I have designed this thing to look like a submarine due to its dex entry.

HP: 130
Attack: 105(+30)
Defenses: 120(+60)
Sp.Atk: 45
Sp. Def: 120(+20)
Speed: 10(-10)

Ability: Toxic Barbs: When an opponent deals damage to Mega Clodsire, it will give them the Poison status effect even if it is non contact or special.
