That’s really cool ! I run a similar team to this
Armarouge is a strong pick but also a high skill level pick because of his awkward speed tier
I see people using Maushold on these teams too but I’m not sure if his that good for it
I’d prefer to run incin because incin + Farifiraf is a very reliable TR lead

Reply

Maushold helps me in turn 1 to set TR using him for follow me/ sacrifice to secure it

Reply

Yeah ! I think the teapot can do the same but no friend gaurd
Also gives you another tr setter that can’t be faked out

But I run hard tr and only lead I can find that’s reliable 99% of the time is fake out % farifiraf

Reply

Stops them from double spread attacking me

Reply

Lets me live to set tr

Reply

The maushold usually dies after getting doble hitting, the focus band helps for that. That eay i can play meha golurk on turn 2

Reply

Will your setter live against like mega zard + Garchomp lead ?

That’s what I usually gotta focus on avoiding happening haha

Reply

I need follow me on my team but haven’t been game to try him yet

Reply

I can say it works 99 of the times, the times it fails is if my opponent makes two spread moves and kills them both, on those cases i lead whit double TR one of them being armarouge for wide guard

Reply

Haven't faced it yet, so i cant tell

Reply

That’s cool I didn’t think of armarouge for wide gaurd !

Reply

The spread damage tends to be fire a lot of the time too

Reply

Aramourge could help with that a lot

Reply

Starting to see typhlosion and zard leads too

Reply

Because of mega Charizard Y, but my armarouge has the fire absorb ability so it just boosts him XD

Reply

I like armarouge a lot . His really good on the trick room mirror match too

Reply

So the build i made is good like it is, or should I change something?

Reply

Incin being another fire type doesn’t actually seem like a good pick
Any other fake out user you can put over the mice ?
Let me check your movesets

Mimi is very reliable too hey
I really enkjoged running curse on it
Messes with bulky targets and hits through protect but that was just me I think

I don’t run protect on Golurk because of his on the field and tr isn’t up his as good as dead I figure . He can’t be faked out so I gave him headlong rush poltergeist (don’t do poltergeist) ice punch for coverage and hammer arm

Reply

I need to swap poltergiest for shadow punch as I got knocked out of the tournament today for using it on something that had already eaten its berry

Reply

Same as torkoal but that’s just my preference

Reply

I figure if his not moving first in tr his also as good as dead

Reply

So gave him eruption heatwave earth power and weatherball

Reply

Weatherball fun tech

Reply

Also you don’t need Mimi I’m gettin on with Hatterne and she’s a little more offensive too

Reply

But I need the fake out for a lot of that

Reply

I also don’t run protect on Hatterne

Reply

lol

Reply

Trickroom dazzling gleam expanding force (psychic) mystic fire

Reply

I believe protect is slightly less necessary on hard tr teams

Reply

You wanna be able to kill everything in your tr turns

Reply

Let me read all slowly XD

Reply

I have spent to much time on these teams but with indeedee their power level is like x2

Reply

Yeah but, its not here yet so

Reply

Gotta think in other strats

Reply

I have been in scenarios where i protect my main hitter (golurk torcoal) because TR wears off while he is still on field, so i can play another TR without swapping

Reply

Or so i can protect turn 1, set TR, and attack on turn 2 without swapping

Reply

But like i say, im new so i could be doing unnecessary plays

Reply

I don’t get that choice much I think if they know that’s my trick room setter they’ll nuke it

Reply

But you could Be right

Reply

If I'm lucky, the type and bulk of the TR setter that i pick will make him survive, or in the case of mimikyu because of disguise

Reply

For those cases i see protect like an option, so I don't have to worry about a bad swap
