I wanna give mega meganium a try because i just got it, a rain team looks like it'll fit but I have no clue, any feedback or suggestions is appreciated

What about a mega raichu? Could catch a thunderbolt vs pelipper by surprise and mega?
Y makes sense with the spattack buff from lightning rod
Yeh synthesis irked me too haha
Doesnt it heal less in non sun as opposed to neutral?
Oh yeh yeh true
Mb
Yeah disable encore is a cool tech but i don't usually get alot of value from it besides disabling protect most games
Yeah i just haven't lol
Probably good for disabling something like Yard stopping heatwave
Was just thinking of poison coverage aswell
With snealser about its no joke
would Talon be good as tailwind here
You need pelipper tho
Yep
yeah that's my thought
Its not a rain team without arch, just a waterteam haha
Metagross and aero are great, you got firecoverage with weatherball
i don't remember if i still have Metagross let me check
That and i dont think its that much of a threat for meganium outside of trickroom
Theres some other bulletpunch users that are more dangerous, like metagross 😂
Semi with metagross, but otherwise it looks like hell have to stall it out
Yep, for lifedew
not really a trick room mode but i like having trick room just incase and being slower has helped pulled out some sneaky wins
Ah shit you have it lmao
Boot lifedew for shadowball
Or curse if youre feeling evil
Ik just kidding
I like having fast life dew under trick room
But you dont really have trick room team
You dont want to stay in tr, just reverse/prevent it
It's not a hard trick room team
it's a tailwind counter
Yeah fair enough, same result. Defensive trickroom
because Meganium is not outspeeding enemy tailwind
Zard? Why?
Theres sableye for that
I'm considering mega aero instead maybe
Aero also does well into zard
Wide guard
rock slide
Tailwind
Duel wingbeat
I say try out metagross instead of arch, aero instead of pelipper and see how you feel
Once youve practiced that youll have a much better feel for what you need/struggle with
iron head, psychic fangs, bullet punch, protect?
never really used metagross
You can ask someone in the battle channel for practice matches
That way you can get pointers too
And rematches
i'm gonna try out some sets with mega meta, mega aero, talon and some others
just too feel it out
well it is adaptability, mystic water, rain
same i just got him
didn't even get to bring out meganium because bas just one shotted everyone
it was a against a basic charizard Y team with garchomp, aero, sylveon, kingambit, and for some reason farig
so happy that i finally got it i've been trying for weeks
talon feels nice
although it was mostly good positioning with counter tailwind
they were soo mad at eye they ripped point blank hyperbeam the moment sylveon was brought out
2 wins in a row oke pretty good
the team is not that hard to pilot
actually got to use meganium this match
it was a mega scrafty arch rain so dazzling gleam was destroying the game
sableye really brings some apex support
talon is... fine
like he's useful but idk
i can't play anymore rn so need some more testing later

Currently after 2 pretty easy games against pretty meta teams
(Yard and Rain Arch)
Feels pretty good
Although Talon feels a little awkward
I can't really tell why it feels awkward since only 2 games
i wish we can share replays of games so i can get some feedback for it
i need some opinion on this teams match up against mega swampert ice punch, because it looks a little dicey but i don't have enough experience with this team yet and i can't play rn, but both my megas seems to be weak to it and i don't have a surefire answer to mega swamp
what do yall think
i really like fake out since my play style has alot of switching
ehhh ill try it out later
rn im concerned about mega swamp and why talon feels awkward
hmmmm that does sound good
now that i think of it i can just quash solar beam too
