I want to try out that special mega garchomp set that's been making the rounds recently and I have most of it down but I could use the help, especially in the 6th slot (meowscarada is a placeholder pick)

Have you got excadrill?
A 2nd mega wouldn't hurt for when chomp isnt optimal
Common sand megas are Steelix (not optimal)
Staraptor
Meganium (it still gets sun boosts under sand)

yes but I have very limited resources (I only play on mobile so recruit's the only way to get new mons)
I have both excadrill and staraptor!
easy change is swap Meow for Staraptor and make it a raptor sand team
excadril moves fast as with sand up and give you another fairy answer
I think I'll try excadril first! is there a particular set I should go for or is there a more general "good" one?
I went with this for now (it came with these EVs, I didn't change those), what changes should I make?

I presume invest heavily into speed and the rest on HP

...granted it was a guy who was SUCH a beginner my man didn't bring whimsicott (he brought zard, dranpa, steelix, and gengar) and bro tried to use THUNDERBOLT on excadrill but we take those

High crit hit ratio makes drill run able to do more.. but yeah horse power is more common

and white herb actually
White Herb is nice but if you find exca gets ohkod alot give him the sash. You can life orb him too but he wont live long 😂
Tbh hes mostly a rockslide bot
I rarely use rock slide with exca, feel lack of dmg hahaha

managed to get my first win with mega chomp actually doing something!
he had grimmsnarl, hydreigon, garchomp, and mega zard y
I was worried bro was gonna cook me BUT he went for light screen first (I guess he realised I was running a special chomp set) giving my sneasler free reign to nuke it and then hydreigon (with help from excadrill there too)
his garchomp then got ice punch'd by my tyranitar and my mega chomp SLAYED (she's a girl) zard y with power gem
