1V1 Singles Team Advice Thread

my favorite mon last season was scizor. Unfortunately, bith swampert and metagross fill that slot better now

Also, whats the purpose of fake out in singles?
I have been kinda using Scizor a lot less
It feels like a waste of a slot
As well as protect

Protect is only really good on stall mons

So why fake out and protect over coverage
I mean I probably just took a List of Raichu Y thinking it was Singles. I can definitely change that

In my head neither move is great
Just put coverage and volt switch
grass knot or disarming voice instead of protect on raichu, and for fake out put volt switch

I guess another thing is for Palafin should I have Life Orb instead of Mystic waters in a sense?
While fake out is free chip, its not worth it unless it puts a relevant mon into zap cannon range every time
Yaichu is so strong its usually work a bit putting a bit into deffense to survive sucker from gambit, but they run supreme overlord so idk

mystic water is fine on palafin

stamina means you want a slow, bulky arch set, so youd need max special attack insetead of speed, the ones that run max speed and special attack are the sturdy ones
decidye looks fine, im assuming its only 30 speed because it's calced to outspeed something
for singles, sizor might be better since it counters stall
just switch knock off for bug bite
and nothings wrong with peli
