If you put dicidueyes signature move on you can deny swap pressure as well

Reply

No more parting shots saving incineroar or u-turns to cycle fake outs

Reply

Iron head also REALLY hurts Aerodactyl and breaks your sash

Reply

Maybe whimsicott tailwind low-key

If my maths are correct, you're missing a couple of evs on most of your pokemon, which doesn't really serve a purpose. Choice Scarf Decidueye doesn't really get any value out of Protect, another coverage move or changing the item would be better. Moonblast on Clefable over Flamethrower will deal more damage due to stab. Aerodactyl using Dual Wingbeat over Iron Head will allow you to ko Sneasler and Whimiscott through Focus Sash. Sinistcha would prefer Life Dew over Stun Spore. Araquanid's physical attack is higher than special, so Liquidation & Lunge or Leech Life over Surf/Bug Buzz (a bug type move might not even be worth it tbh, due to how many major meta mons resist it and Water Bubble only boosting water type moves), and Wide Guard is an important tool for blocking spread damage.

What other item would you put on decidueye? I have flamethrower to deal with steel types but maybe that's dumb thanks for the advice though it's all really good

Reply

What do you think about sticky web on araquanid

Reply

What is his signature move😔

Reply

They're talking about spirit shackle, which hisuian decidueye can't learn

Reply

Flamethrower's not necessarily dumb, but in practice Clefable is going to be koed by those steel types before it can attack, you'd be better off handling them by using Decidueye and Delphox. Sticky Web and hazards in general aren't usually very useful in VGC, compared to how ubiquitous they are in smogon singles; there's a lot less switching and games are shorter, so there's less value; especially to all the hazards that flying-types ignore. Icy Wind could be useful as a speed control option, or Reflect to mitigate damage. As for a Decidueye item, the fire-resistance berry could be useful against Incineroars, or the poison one against Sneaslers.

That's dumb 💔 I've never used the Mon why would they take his sig away lmao

Reply

Because the hisuian one gets an arguably better move, triple arrows is a delete button. Alolan decidueye can still use spirit shackle tho, dw

Reply

Yeah he's definitely the star of the team right now

Carrying

Oh triple arrow? Ok I may need to get me one of these

Reply

That sounds cool as hell

Reply

Yeah that all makes sense big appreciate it. can i @ u if I have more questions in a bit

Reply

ofc :]

Reply

What do you think about pounce instead of icy wind. It still lowers speed and is physical

Reply

Interesting, didn't consider that. On instinct i'd say Icy Wind is still better because it lowers both opponents instead of just one, but try it out and see!

Incin lost u-turn in champions (YAY)

Sneasler

Not incin

Ohhh, sorry was confused
