Just looking for some advice in terms of refining my evs, and possibly having a different mon over ape however i think ape is fine here

Only thing id really consider dropping ape for is an anti raptor mon defensively
if youre looking for a raptor counter I recommend using clefable
unaware, follow me, always 2hit KO mega raptor, survives 2 brave birds, use sitrus berry etc
against raptor whimsicott you could lead clefable arch, protect arch attack raptor with moonblast
next turn follow me draco meteor
and hope that draco connects
