Jolteon. Run your own sun setter. Fire Weather Ball shreds Archaludon. Jolteon erases Char Y as well.

sagetemple-50

doesn't mega swampert deal with archaludon fine? i think it 2 hits it right?

Should I scrap helio too then? Cos he’s good for basc and staraptor. Sometimes zard too

applelizard-31

Helio is strong, but sadly too slow to be reliable in dealing with multiple threats.

Most times I face archuladon with my swampert there’s also a sinistcha

granddolphin-14

i see what you did there Politoed sets up the rain and Sableye sets up screens and heliolisk takes advantage of it

Yeah I love that setup. Looks like I have to replace helio though

youngheron-29 OP

So what replacements would you suggest for both

@youngheron-29 Most times I face archuladon with my swampert there’s also a sinistcha
sagetemple-50

if you are struggling with sinistcha, then just add aerodactyl with tailwind, rock slide for zard(1 shots it always), and wide guard for sinischa

applelizard-31

Hmm. With Tailwind the big downside of Helio is solved. Although Helio still prefers sun over rain. But it should be fine?

sagetemple-50

the entire aerodactyl set will be tailwind, wide gaurd, rock slide, and either protect or ice fang to deal with garchomp.
run it jolly with focus sash

Scarf Hydreigon is actually kinda fire in the right situations
Give it dark pulse, Draco, Earth power, snarl and it's capable of dealing with Archaludon
