gentlefrost-80 OP

can we make it tommorow? i have to study

mellowkitten-97

Im very late to this convo but to answer your question… yesn’t. Typestacking is not inherently bad, there are often teams built around pokemon with multiple types slowly wearing down a shared counter over time. For example rillaboom on paper has a good matchup into many common water type attackers, but it doesnt have infinite HP. If you have 2-3 water types on the same team, one of them is gonna break through eventually because the rillaboom will (ideally) eventually be weak enough that the last one can break through, even if it is a losing matchup on paper. This is offensive typestacking.

Defensive typestacking is the kind thats bad. When you stack multiple defensive pieces of the same typing, youre not really overwhelming your opponent with the typestack, you just have multiple defensive pieces with shared weaknesses, which is generally bad

mellowkitten-97

On this team specifically i dont even think the typestacking is the problem necessarily, hoopa and malamar are just not very good pokemon

gentlefrost-80 OP

alrighty thank you man

gentlefrost-80 OP

hey so sorry but is mawile able to fit into this team? i really like mega mawile and its a pretty slow mon

gentlefrost-80 OP

gentlefrost-80 OP

gentlefrost-80 OP

gentlefrost-80 OP
