Hello! I'm fairly new to the competitive scene and I've been using this team for most of my time here. I absolutely love it and I do think its almost good enough for me to try and aim for Master ball tier but it has some obvious shortcomings I want to remedy. The first is that the team feels extremely weak to trick room and the second is that opposing mega swamperts can cause an enormous amount of problems to most of my team. I've been looking at sinistcha as a potential fix to these problems but all the Pokémon on the team have felt so good and reliable im not sure if thats the correct thing to do at all. I also put little thought in the EV spreads, mostly just copying things I've seen online so help fine tuning them would be very helpful. Thanks in advance to the team builders of the community, especially considering I dont think I'll be the first or last to send a mega swampert rain team here for help.

Tbh you already know the answer. Bring your own trick room mon to turn off trick room.. Sinistcha

Sini is a great mon though the healing she brings is so good. But you would probably have to drop sableye and I get why you dont want to do that

When trying to counter TR you need to focus the TR user.
But since farig is so bulky it gets TR up sooo easy.

You could have sableye encore the trick room user but farig will stop your encore.

If you dont use coaching alot you could run taunt on sneasler to taunt the TR user instead of leading with fakeout.

Otherwise get used to using the team under TR but thats hard 😆

Yeah i kinda figured sinistcha might be the answer but im not entirely sure who id even cut for to add them to the team since every Pokémon has been feeling so useful. Taunt on sneasler does sound like a really good idea though. Tyty. Also any clue about EV spreads or are those good?

ironpanther-10

just roar it away from the field

niftybreeze-11 OP

Is that really something worth doing? Also not entirely sure who learns roar or a similar move on that team tbh

roar seess some usage rising bc OF ME

ironpanther-10

it resets all of mega raptors stats, can get rid of trickroom setters, and get rid of threats aswell with a passive roar protect play

ironpanther-10

For example a mega raptor is about to OHKO your partner pokémon, simply protect it meanwhile the other is roaring it away

ironpanther-10

I use skeledirge for that since its the only roar+unaware Pokémon, so not only do you keep your partners safe, you also ignore their stat changes

niftybreeze-11 OP

Its definitely not that im against trying that out either though im running into the problem again of i really dont know who to cut tbh
