⠀
Death Note is a gripping psychological thriller series that follows Light Yagami, an ordinary high school student whose life changes forever after discovering the Death Note, a mysterious notebook dropped into the human world by the Shinigami Ryuk. The notebook grants its owner the power to kill anyone whose name is written inside. Believing he can create a perfect world free of crime, Light takes on the identity of Kira, eliminating criminals and gaining followers across the globe.
As Kira's influence grows, the world's greatest detective, L, launches a relentless investigation to uncover his true identity. What follows is an intense battle of intelligence, deception, and justice, where every move could mean victory—or death. In a world where the line between right and wrong begins to blur, only one genius will have the chance to write the final name.
