AntiScamBot — Discord Crypto Scam Image Protection

AntiScamBot is a Discord moderation bot built to help protect communities from crypto and Bitcoin scam images. Instead of only looking for suspicious links or plain text messages, AntiScamBot scans image attachments, extracts text using OCR, and checks that text against scam detection rules.

Crypto scam posts often appear as screenshots, fake giveaways, QR-code style promotions, or edited images designed to bypass normal text filters. AntiScamBot focuses on catching that kind of content before it spreads through your server.

Server-Specific Setup

AntiScamBot does not start moderating immediately after joining a server. Each server must complete setup first, giving admins control over how the bot behaves.

After setup, server admins can choose whether AntiScamBot should:

• Delete detected scam messages
• Timeout offending users
• Send moderation alerts
• Report scam detections to the bot owner
• Warn users through DMs
• Allow selected moderator roles to manage settings

This makes AntiScamBot flexible for different communities, from small private servers to larger public Discord communities.
