Why do you want this character?: Because I like Luigi and I'm in my Luigi phase.

Personality:While Luigi has some similarities to Mario, like any other twin bro there is some differences that makes Luigi... Luigi!
Luigi is mostly a bit more emotional, not being weird to crying or feeling scared or angry... and even a bit more cautious and timid between the bros, trying to act rationally rather than being rash(no tongue twisting intended); of course he also is easier to scare than Mario; and harder to make him face his fears. If he's scared of something, combined with the timidness of his leads to his nervous reaction to things; including his stuttering in speech whenever he meets someone new due to his force of nature.
Another thing that can lead to his rather(for the lack of a better word) "scared and cowardly" reaction is danger in the adventures, since he'd rather take no chances than to do it knowing that it may happen.
However, when it actually matters(when it's the time to save someone or something), he actually grows out of his shell and gets a small courage spurt!
And while in the matters of Luigi's positive manners...

Ah yes, Midnight at NYC. Where most with the 9-2-5 jobs are sleeping out; some full night shift jobs just started working and for the Mario Bros? Well, Mario's sleeping like a rock and snoring like a monster, speaking about "Ravioli" and "Spaghetti and... Luigi?
"Oooh.. mamma mia... What?- oh, it's 30 past midnight..."
Luigi said in a groggy voice, looking drowsy at the digital clock for a few seconds. A strang feeling went through his gut and dryness hit him again, Luigi looked at the empty water cup. Maybe he was thirsty actually.
"Oof, I'ma get some water again... I'm feeling tired."
As he stepped out of his bed, a few creepy sounds of crunching echoes around. While that seemed unsettling, Luigi also did noticed that Mario wasn't in his bed; so in his mind: this was 2+2= 4.
Luigi had a finger rubbing his nose, right below his slightly messed up 'stache, asking with a rather cracked up voice.
"M-mario? Are you... Snacking over again?"
Only silence responded, with Luigi slowly coming to his sense before asking again before entering the main hall, where the fridge was.
"M-Mario??? For the love of pasta man, just say something!... M-MARIO???"
As silence continued the response, he slowly breathed in heavily; with his mouth being covered as the thoughts settled in. What's happened to Mario? He couldn't be in heavy levels of trouble, especially in midnight... What should he do? Sleeping is a bad idea... The only choice was to enter the room, then.
Lu sighed, slowly entering the room as the door creaked... As if it couldn't get creepier, the room was dead empty of any light... Except The Fridge....
Luigi gulped as his body was shaking like jelly to this scene, he had a bad feeling about this... A very bad feeling about this, he could only just imagine the most positive thing... It being a giant fridge so that Mario can possibly just be stuck in it... Yeah, that can maybe the reason some of his muflled noises is coming...
"M-.... MARIO??? CAN YOU HEAR ME???!"
Some knocking came from the inside of the fridge, swift knocking... Hold on, MARIO'S IN TROUBLE THEN-?! Oh no, he's gotta save him ASAP! Oh what could happen to Mario in there? OH SHIT-
Luigi started running towards the fridge with high speed, his eyes widening and his 'stache jumping up a bit. Swiftly he reached the fridge but then his lack of traction control led him for a face flat finish on the fridge; leaving redness on his nose as he grunted.
"Ma stai sherzando..." He murmured in his second of grunt.
But no time to waste, he had to swiftly go and open the fridge door to see what's going on... And he just froze and kneeled on his knees, feeling pale.
Mario's picture was there... But not any picture, the type that resembled a sort of... Signature look. A look only creates by being trapped by....
- "SUPRISEEE, AHAHHA... YOU MISSED ME?... WHISPY LUIGI!!"
King Boo... OF COURSE IT HAD TO BE KING BOO- This is just too much for Luigi... It can't be true, It Can't Be... This is just his trauma playing all over again, and now King Boo was flying around him... This was just another level of torture, and hell how would he even find E. Gadd in such a short notice?!
At this point, it was seemingly now over for him... And Mario. He failed his twin bro, after all of the promises he made for "helping him no matter what"... And he failed because he slept out, typical.
Luigi just decided to out the Mario, framed picture close to him and sob out in defeat as King Boo's voice echoed around his head.
- "Luigi... Wake up... Luigiiii...."
The voice was slowly shifting in Luigi's head, with it at first not really bothering him. Though then the voice went into... MARIO'S?!
- "LUIIGII!!!!!"
Wait... It was all just a dream? Oh yeah it actually was. Turns out he had such a nightmare that it made noises so loud, in which Mario had to wake up early and snap his bro out of it.
- "Mamma Mia, Luigi... Did you had a howler in your dreams, bro?"
Luigi's eyes slowly shifted and woke up, seeing Mario's messy early morning face. Thank pasta's mama that it was all just a dream and he's not trapped! Luigi hugged Mario tightly as he started crying out, with Mario immediately getting the note about what the L-man just experienced.
- "It's ok, bro. You're fine..."
"I-I thought you were trapped... by a g-g-g-ghost all over again...."

"Now how 'bout we go eat some morning pizza, bro?"
Luigi sighed in relief with a small chuckle, pulling out the hug and moving off his bed.
"Sure... that's-a good fix!"
The bros then went to have some early pizza before it was time to go to work... MARIO BROS STYLE!!! :]
