Why do you want this character?: Sega doesn’t do nearly enough with the character, so I hope to flesh them out a little more!
Personality: Cute but crafty, NiGHTS is a mischievous and naive specimen of the World of Dreams. Defecting from Wizeman, the Jester of Dreams hopes that all who lay their heads down won’t have to experience the Nightmares brought on by their creator. Still, despite their noble cause, NiGHTS’ childlike nature and occasionally offsetting appearance leads them to believe that the Visitors might be afraid of them.

Auditions:
“Were they afraid of me? Of course they were, who wouldn’t? It’s was my WHOLE purpose for a while…” NiGHTS stretched in the lounge chair, crossing one leg over another.
“Though of all the Nightopians that looked at me in fear when I first arrived, one looked at me in pity, dare I say curiosity. Their name was Owl… That feathered fuddy-duddy took me under his, well, wing. Taught me about the land my former master terrorized, and I… I loved it!”
“The freedom, their laughter, the amazing wonderworlds that the visitors create! It was that gesture of kindness that maybe realized that I wasn’t a traitor, or mistake, or some cosmic failure…”
“I was simply… A Jester of Kindness…”
