Skylar would be sitting in the motorboat, looking at its condition after dropping off Cyanide. Not good that she had to use the turbo she so roughly installed..she wished she had more time on that and experience but, she had no choice. She both had to get away from the authorities at the time and a stupid tsunami..and that last part was pushing it even for her standards! Safe to say that at the moment she’s quite— stressed, not openly displaying it as she just seems more annoyed than anything but she’s not sure if she can figure out how to properly repair the boat in its current state..not for a lack of funding either after selling what she stole her last heist..

She’d just continue to examine everything and take note of the parts she needed to fix which was..a lot more than she expected.. {S}

“….thanks.”

If Mighty was looking at it close enough he could see that it was..actually a G.U.N. licensed vehicle..well— if he could pick out where she had been painting over it recently anyways. But she was more so focusing on trying to get everything fixed up on it as she was putting the ropes onto connection points so she could have it lifted out of the water and above some ground so she could more easily tinker with it..it was kinda in rough shape judging by the exhaust pipe being somewhat melted.. {S}

She looks back to the emblem- then to Mighty..well, this works in her favor. Might as well act the part! Still she wonders if she could be charged with the crime of defamation throwing around G.U.N’s name around like this..not like she’d let herself be caught to find out but it’s fruit for thought!

“That..would be greatly appreciated honestly.”

She smiles back, not letting it be known that she actually stole it rather than earned it.. {S}

“I-..well you’re a lot stronger than you look.”

She was genuinely kinda surprised by the absurd strength but— also glad she’s not on his bad side for right now as she holds the sandwich he handed her in her hand. Taking a bite out of it as she was ready to just follow behind Mighty to the workshop..wherever it was.

“Ah..yeah that’s a fair point..You can just call me Sky.”

Not a complete lie of her name, but still a lie nonetheless..she’d just continue following Mighty as she continued eating the sandwich.

“You heard about the tsunami that happened?..the one caused by angel island falling?” {S}

“As much as I’d like to worry over the guardian, more concerned about what destroyed the master emerald so easily. The real effort is getting past Knuckles in the first place after all..” {S}

“Not a chance if he could just use it..likely something or someone else came along.” {S}

She just lowers her ears to not have the flames hurt the little flicky

“Guess so..” {S}

“I..am surprised to hear that considering most mobians aren’t just..on fire naturally.” {S}

“A demon from— hell..honestly that’s somehow not the weirdest thing I’ll ever hear in my life…”

Hearing the fact this individual named shape was— depressed, well, she has no reaction to this. Mostly because she truly can’t care much. But she doesn’t try to actually disrespect them by acting too careless..

“Well I..guess I hope they find help for their problems?..I..can’t really say much on that.” {S}

Skylar sighs, she..kinda hated that this was told to her. She just hopes whoever Shape actually was they weren’t using their trauma as an excuse for how they act. She hated people like that, because no matter how bad your trauma was— if time has passed it’s still your choice to hold onto it or not..even if it’s guilt.

“I’m sure they’d prefer if you don’t share the trauma..I could only imagine how I’d feel being exposed by someone I told my personal life to sharing it with some stranger..”

She’s not trying to be rude but Mighty is a bit far into sharing details about people he knows, because she’s just assuming this— but Shape probably only told their story to explain their situation..not for it to be popularized. {S}

She— can’t even think of how to respond to that..her expression reflecting her shock and confusion as she just stares at Mighty wondering if he was being serious or not.. {S}

“I really do appreciate the help honestly— should be able to get the boat fixed up in no time thanks to your help!”

She’s pondering internally if Mighty actually never noticed, but that’s not exactly anything she has to worry over right now..she needs to fix this boat and head towards her next heist. Though she was still mindful of the flicky whilst her ears twitched if it still say upon her head. {S}
