Station Square Update: Events, Community & InkGame
Summary
Station Square shares plans to keep the community welcoming and active, including events, new activities, and ongoing server improvements despite staff having less free time. The announcement clarifies that the community has around 16 actual members and introduces InkGame to the Station Square Game Library.
Hey @🪪 Citizen !
I wanted to give everyone a little update about Station Square and what's coming next!
First off, Jojo is officially back as our Co-Owner, taking on the role of @🌸 Heart Leader
She'll be helping me keep Station Square running while I'm busy with college and everything else going on.
I've recently made it onto my college's top-level team which means I'll be spending more time traveling to events, practicing, and competing.
Along with college itself and potentially starting work soon I'll probably have quite a bit less free time than I do right now.
Jojo will also have school and work keeping her busy so neither of us will be around 24/7.
But we'll both continue doing our best to keep Station Square active and welcoming.
We'll still be working on things like:
🎉 Community events
👋 Welcoming new Citizens
💬 Hanging out and chatting with everyone
🛠️ Improving the server
🎮 Adding new games and activities
📊 A quick note about our member count!
You may notice that Discord shows a much higher member count than the number of actual people in the community.
That's because a lot of the members counted are bots, so the displayed number isn't an accurate representation of our actual community.
Right now, Station Square has around 16 actual members/Citizens.
We're still a small community, but we're growing and we're more interested in building a community where people actually know each other than simply chasing a big number.
🎮 New Game Added!
We've also added a new game to the Station Square Game Library:
@🦑 InkGame
If you want to pick up Visit Tails
in #🦊┃matrix-roles to grab the game role!
That's all for now! Thank you to everyone who's stuck around, chatted with us, and helped Station Square grow.
Even with college, work, competitions, and everything else going on, Station Square isn't going anywhere.
We'll keep doing our best to make this city a fun place to hang out.
