Happy October, Citizens! 🎃

The city has officially gotten a little spooky for Halloween month! 👻

You may notice that some of our categories, channel icons, and other parts of Station Square have gotten a Halloween makeover. These changes will be around throughout October!

🏆 Tournament Updates
🔪 MM2 Tournament
Will still try to do this tournament if we enough ppl

🩸 Outcome Memories 2v2 Tournament
This tournament will be happening! Before I open signups, though, I want to test some things and figure out how the 2v2 format will work so everything can run smoothly.
Once everything is ready, signups and more information will be posted in #🦇│event-board

🛡️ Moderator Applications
Since we're getting close to 40 Citizens, I'm also opening moderator applications again!
If you're interested in helping Station Square and potentially joining G.U.N., you'll be able to apply to become a @🎖️ G.U.N. Recruit .

You don't need previous moderation experience to apply! Recruits will have the opportunity to learn through training and experience with the current staff.

Applying doesn't guarantee you'll be selected. I'm mainly looking for people who are responsible, willing to learn, active in the community, and genuinely interested in helping Station Square.
(mods closed)

✨ Hyper Citizen
Our first-ever Hyper Citizen has officially been selected!
The Hyper Citizen is someone who stood out through their positivity, participation, helpfulness, contributions, or overall presence in the community.
Check out #🌙│spotlight to see who our first Hyper Citizen is and why they were selected!

That's everything for now! Hope everyone enjoys the Halloween makeover and there's plenty more coming

||@🪪 Citizen ||

✨ Hyper Citizen Coming October!

I remember what I wanted to say but forgot to say it 2 days ago oops but starting in October, one outstanding citizen will be selected as our Hyper Citizen of the Month!

This will recognize someone who stood out through their activity, positivity, participation, helpfulness, or contributions to Station Square throughout the month.

The selected citizen will receive the special @✨ Hyper Citizen role for the following month and be featured in #⭐┃spotlight

You don't have to be the most active person to earn it just continue being a positive and awesome part of the community!

Have a goodnight or good day and ofc if u have ideas or anything for the city, I'll read them in #🏛️┃city-hall

@🪪 Citizen Heyaa! Just wanted to share a few quick announcements

🏆 Tournament Ping
There is now a @🏆Tournament role! If you want to be notified whenever a tournament is announced or happening, make sure to grab the role so you don't miss out! #🦊┃matrix-roles

🏟️ Station Square Arena
I've also added some new tournament channels to keep everything organized! You'll now be able to find tournament sign-ups, brackets, Top 8 results, champion history, and prize confirmations all in one place.

💰 Future Tournament Prizes
I also wanted to mention that you shouldn't always expect a prize for every tournament 😭

I love being able to give out prizes when I can, but I'm also not trying to go broke from hosting tournaments LOL.

You can still expect prize tournaments for things like special events, server milestones, or if someone donates toward a tournament prize pool. Depending on the event, prizes could also be for 1st place or even Top 3.

Either way, I still want tournaments to be something fun we can all compete in even when money isn't involved! 🏆

🎮 Upcoming & Future Tournaments
As you may know, we already finished our first Outcome Memories 1v1 Tournament! GGs again to everyone who participated 💙

I definitely plan on doing an Outcome Memories 1v1 Tournament #2 in the future! I also want to eventually try different formats like 2v2s/team tournaments and other ideas as the server continues to grow.

For this week though, we have:

@🎤 Funky Friday 1v1 Tounrey
@🔪 MM2 (possibly) 1v1 Tounrey

More information and will be coming soon!

🎉 Road to 50 Citizens
We're currently at 33 Citizens, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who's joined and continues to help the server grow! 💙

Once we reach our first 50 Citizens, I plan on doing a special giveaway to celebrate! 🎁

We're getting closer

That's all I wanted to share for now! Hope everyone has a good day

|| @🪪 Citizen ||

Hey Citizens! Hope you all had a good day today! I have quite a bit of information to share so here are some updates about the server :)

🎉 1. WE REACHED 30 CITIZENS!

First thank you to all 30 of you who decided to enter and stay in the city! 💙

As this server slowly continues to grow, I'm really glad that you guys have wanted to stick around and see how far we can take it. Sooner or later we'll be celebrating 50 Citizens

Especially to everyone who has been active, talked in chat, or just helped make the server feel alive I'm really thankful to have you here.

2. Cussing is now allowed

You guys won the poll, so with that being said, I'm unbanning cussing. You are now allowed to cuss in the server.

HOWEVER, please use it correctly . The main thing I ask is that you don't use it to cause drama, attack people, or turn arguments toxic.

If it becomes a constant problem over the next few months, I will ban it again.

Most of y'all are teenagers and some of you are adults, so I expect you to know when you're taking something too far. Just be responsible with it

🏆 3. Tournament Updates!

@🩸Outcome Memories has officially reached its signup goal with around 8–9 players!

That means I'll be hosting our first Outcome Memories tournament either this Saturday or next Saturday! I'll try to find a time that works for as many of you as possible be on a lookout for #🎉┃events for more informations

🎵 @🎤 Funky Friday currently has around 6–7 signups, so we're getting close there too!

🔪 And if you'd be interested in an @🔪 MM2 tournament, let me know! If enough people want one, I'll look into hosting it.

🛡️ 4. Welcome our first G.U.N. staff!

Station Square officially has its first G.U.N. Agent and G.U.N. Recruit!

@John — Our first G.U.N. Agent!

@Chiz — Our first G.U.N. Recruit! Chiz will be learning the ropes and gaining moderation experience as he works toward becoming a full G.U.N. Agent.

Congrats to both of them!

One last thing!

Make sure to fill out your About Me in the #🪪┃citizen-cards if you haven't already!

It's there so everyone can learn a little more about each other, find things you have in common, start conversations, and hopefully make some new friends around the city.

And as always if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, feel free to let me know!

That's all I have for tonight. Thank you again for 30 Citizens, and let's see where Station Square goes from here!

|| @🪪 Citizen ||
Hey Citizens!

First, I just wanted to say thank you for 23 members so far!

The server is slowly growing, and it honestly means a lot that most of you have decided to stay and watch the server grow. I really appreciate it

I also wanted to give a few updates:

🏆 Upcoming Tournaments

As you probably know, I'm planning 3 different tournaments:

• Outcome Memories
• Funky Friday
• MM2

Each tournament currently has a $10 prize for 1st place and is completely free to enter!

There is a chance I won't do the Ink Game event anymore. If I don't that extra $10 will most likely either go toward a server giveaway that requires Level 5 @👟 Sprinter to enter, OR I might add it to one of the tournaments and make that tournament's prize $20 instead of $10. 👀

If one of the tournaments gets at least 8 players, I'll officially set it up for Saturday!

And of course, if you have any questions about how any of the tournaments will work, just let me know.

🛡️ Moderator Applications

For mods, I still think it's a little too early to open applications.

I'll probably look into choosing 1–2 moderators once we reach around 30–40 members. I'll make another announcement whenever applications officially open!

🎉 About Me Event

And don't forget that the About Me event is tomorrow around 9–10 PM EST!

That's everything I have for now. Again, thank you for sticking around and helping the server grow.

Hope everyone has a good Friday!

|| @🪪 Citizen ||

Heya! Hope y’all are having a good week 💙

We’ve got some future events planned for Station Square!

🎮 Upcoming Events

🔪 MM2 1v1 Tournament
🦑 Ink Game Event
🩸 Outcome Memories Tournament
🎤 Funky Friday Tournament

💰 Prize Pool: $40+ total across all four events!

Each event will have a 1st place prize, starting at $10 per game. Depending on how much I’m able to put into the prize pool the prizes may increase 👀

🎤 Also the @🎤 Funky Friday ping is now available in #🦊┃matrix-roles so make sure to grab it if you want to know when the tournament happens!

@🌸 Heart Leader also has some future events she’s planning to host so there’s more to come!

These events are planned for this month or next month, depending on everyone’s availability. We’ll announce the exact dates and times once we get closer and I will be making something to get closer to actually doing 1 of the game.

Have a good rest of your day

Hey @🪪 Citizen !

I wanted to give everyone a little update about Station Square and what's coming next!

First off, Jojo is officially back as our Co-Owner, taking on the role of @🌸 Heart Leader She'll be helping me keep Station Square running while I'm busy with college and everything else going on.

I've recently made it onto my college's top-level team which means I'll be spending more time traveling to events, practicing, and competing. Along with college itself and potentially starting work soon I'll probably have quite a bit less free time than I do right now.

Jojo will also have school and work keeping her busy so neither of us will be around 24/7. But we'll both continue doing our best to keep Station Square active and welcoming.

We'll still be working on things like:

🎉 Community events
👋 Welcoming new Citizens
💬 Hanging out and chatting with everyone
🛠️ Improving the server
🎮 Adding new games and activities

📊 A quick note about our member count!

You may notice that Discord shows a much higher member count than the number of actual people in the community.

That's because a lot of the members counted are bots, so the displayed number isn't an accurate representation of our actual community.

Right now, Station Square has around 16 actual members/Citizens.

We're still a small community, but we're growing and we're more interested in building a community where people actually know each other than simply chasing a big number.

🎮 New Game Added!

We've also added a new game to the Station Square Game Library:

@🦑 InkGame

If you want to pick up Visit Tails in #🦊┃matrix-roles to grab the game role!

That's all for now! Thank you to everyone who's stuck around, chatted with us, and helped Station Square grow.

Even with college, work, competitions, and everything else going on, Station Square isn't going anywhere.

We'll keep doing our best to make this city a fun place to hang out.

|| The about me event will still be this Saturday ||

📢 Station Square Update

Hey @🪪 Citizen 💙

I hope you’re enjoying the city so far! Thank you for being here and supporting Station Square while we’re still new and growing. 🚉

You’ll probably be getting two pings today, but before that, I wanted to let you know that Tails has added three new reaction roles to #🦊┃matrix-roles

@🔔 Server Update Ping
Get notified when things like new reaction roles, channels, features, or other server updates are added.

@💎 Chaos Emerald Ping
Get notified when a Citizen achieves a Chaos Emerald!

(New game added)
@🩸Outcome Memories
Get notified for Outcome Memories, a Sonic.EXE-style asym game.

That’s all for the updates for now! 💙

I definitely recommend picking up the 🔔 Server Update Ping so you don’t miss any new features or changes we add to Station Square.

Thanks for being part of the city!

Hi citizens! 💕 @🪪 Citizen

I hope you’re all having an amazing day!

I wanted to let everyone know that Sonic/ @👟Speed Leader is heading off on an adventure for the next 5 days. Before he left, he asked me to help look after Station Square until he gets back.

Don’t worry though! 🩷 We’ll still be here to welcome new Citizens, answer questions, and keep the fun going!

If you ever need anything, feel free to ask! Tails/ <@&1532874119790596206> and I will be around to lend a hand however we can.

Let’s keep making Station Square the wonderful place Sonic knows and loves. I can’t wait for him to come back and see all the new adventures you’ve had together!

See you around the city! ⭐🌸

— Amy
