9/11 Remembrance Message — lsrpfr Community
Summary
In lsrpfr this announcement honors the 2,996 lives lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks and pays tribute to firefighters, police, and civilians. It reflects on the lasting impact 22 years later and encourages the community to remember and honor those who sacrificed. The message reinforces unity and respect within the lsrpfr community.
“It was one of the most heartbreaking experiences for Americans who were there when it happened. 4 confirmed planes, 1 suspected—later unconfirmed—plane. 3 historical landmarks, an open field in the middle of nowhere, an event which would directly lead to the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan not long after. And 22 years later, we still honor the 2996 men, women, and others who all lost their lives on the most tragic day of not just 21st Century American History, but one of the most tragic days in American History of all time.
This would be known, as the September 11th, 2001 Attacks.”
Even 22 years later, those who were alive during the event and remember it are forever shocked by the terror they witnessed unfolding right in front of them. As for those who weren’t born yet, they would soon learn of the tragedy that September 11th, 2001 would bring.
May all the men, women, fire fighters, police officers, and innocent bystanders who gave up their lives to protect us all. They shall never be forgotten, and their memories live on.
God bless us all, and God Bless America.
