r/Lebanon Debate: Hezbollah and the War’s Cost
Summary
In r/Lebanon, this announcement argues that Hezbollah’s decision to enter the conflict on October 8 contributed to years of destruction and loss. It cites subsequent rocket attacks, prolonged bombing, damage across southern Lebanon, and an estimated 10,000 deaths, raising urgent questions about responsibility and the war’s cost to the community.
I am so sick and tired of the justifications and excuses people give Hezbollah!!!!
They started this war and led us to this path pf destruction and death.
Stop blaming the government because it is already a failed state that couldn’t control the country at peace time let alone at war.
People just hate to admit that hezb FAFO so they try to cope… Do you remember the whole:
Israel wont reach al 5yam then it wont reach bent jbeil then they wont reach whatever whatever until mansore then ali taher etc…
Hezb committed mass suicide by entering this war in 2023 it has been almost 4 years of pure destruction and humiliation.
So admit it: if hezb didn’t join on October 8 then the 66 day war and the following 15 months of non stop bombing wouldn’t have happened.
If they didn’t attack Israel with 6 embarrassing rockets post khomeini then the war wouldn’t have happened and we wouldn’t have lowt half of the south.
If hezb didn’t start this then we wouldn’t have lost \~10,000 people.
