Bc feeling nothing is worse
Depends on what its about.
Elaborate
Sadness from grief is straight painful. Its horrendous
And i havent even experienced the grief of someone close to me dying.
Theyll tell u tho.
Feeling nothing is no fun dont get me wrong but its definitely not the worst feeling out there.
I've felt both, being sad isn't a privilege since it makes it sound like smth good
Inconsolable despair is way worse than apathy.
True.
Yh it is
For apathy there is nothing there so nothing to feel
Apathy sucks but its relatively comfortable usually. But strong sadness? That physically hurts. I feel it in my chest
Yh exactly, sometimes it can hurt even since it's such a strong feeling at times
Fax
Apathy only seems bad if uve never had worse. Just inexperience.
Yep
Also intense sadness can be seriously emotionally draining, sometimes it even leads to apathy depending on how tired out u may be
100%. I always become more apathetic after having strong emotions.
Strong anger with no outlet is also terrible if u have a real reason to be angry
Yep same, imo it's better feeling nothing
Yh true
Well its been settled i guess.
Hot take dismissed 🫡
Fpr u
Wut 😐
IT IS A PRIVILEGE!!!
Bro in this industry? You being sad for a certain amount of time will lose so many things
opportunity, money, sanity.
Everybody gets sad when they experience hardship. That doesnt mean they stop having responsibilities when it happens
Also what industry?
Nothing specific, just in general
I get that we felt emotions and we can't stop or control it.. But some can't afford to stay sad for a long time cause they have work, mouth to feed, things to do
Well sure if u assume that sadness means the person stops functioning. That happens sometimes but definitely not all the time
Feeling sad can affect your work tho. It can mess things up if your not gonna carry yourself properly
Yea true. I still dont understand how that makes it a privilege tho
U cant magic ur way out of sadness. U can punch it down and push through ur work. But that doesnt make it go away
It became a privilege cause you don't have don't have the time end energy to assess your emotion properly.
what?
I'm not good with my words so please bear with me.
When a person was so busy cause of work preassure or something, they have no time to process the sadness they felt
so eventually they will bury it down and continue their lives
well sure
but even without processing the emotion, its still there. theyre still sad.
they might felt sadness but will will never have the closure to that feeling.
i mean there isnt closure to a lot of feelings tbh
they just fade with time in a lot of cases
but privilege folks have tho. They have time to process their emotions, have time to destressing , they won't feel like they're "wasting time" worrying about soemthing so trival
Thats true, but then were no longer talking about sadness itself being a privilege
Also ur english is very good if u were born in asia
Nice job
Most americans barely speak english themselves lol
Thanks, my mom was so jelous to our neighbor, she enrolled me to english class back then
Sadness itself cant be a privilege. The context surrounding it could be tho.
ig
¯_(ツ)_/¯
no
i rather feel nothing in auto mode instead of forcing myself while doing everything (yh how u get to the number 1)
This is where Depression comes to play
Maybe
