I was in early 2000s, but I guess at some point probably from when it was getting closer to 2020 the world did change in many ways, what do you think?
For me,it went really fast in ways that doesn't really look good
Now we have kids adulting fast
The existence of phones I guess
We don't even live the physical world that much anymore
Back then,I didn't know what was happening in any country outside my own Nd the world wasn't ending
Childhood had animations that were peak,Nd it was worth siting hours with your siblings Nd neighbours kid to watch
Yeah,but I didn't know about wars when I was a kid
I use to run around,okay in the sand

Also, I personally knew how to soclize when I was a kid
Because we talk to actual people
There was no life is depressing or lonely or looking for friends
We didn't have to perform for anyone

And I was okay

Did you worry about how you looked your relationship back then?
I was in my prime with novels and short stories

My point is the hyper-connectivity in the world now sounds great but not too great
Developed and matured r two diff things, that's more complex

Also a few decades ago teens aged more quickly so they looked like grown adults

Tbh it kinda makes sense, since nowadays there's more media coverage abt everything and ppl r more aware of what's going on nowadays and seem to care more
