420 Celebration & New RPG Club on r/UKMedicalCannabis
Summary
r/ukmedicalcannabis shares a 420 greeting and community hangout for music, TV and vaping plus the launch of a new RPG Club. The club will run a D&D 5e one-shot for level 2 characters on Thursday April 24 at 7.30pm using voice chat and Owlbear Rodeo. This announcement expands social and gaming activities for patients and members.

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter/420 and the postie brought you all of the VAS impulse purchases you wanted. It's been a pleasure to have so many of you here contributing to our community and you have all helped to make this Discord a really nice place to be.

I'm also happy to announce our new RPG Club at #rpg-chat, and our @Games Master @Anam, who has prepared this introduction:
Fancy diving into a classic fantasy adventure with a twist of mystery and mayhem? I’ll be running a one-shot using Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (2014). Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the game, all are welcome! (4/5 seats available)
🧙 What You’ll Need:
- A Discord account (we’ll be voice-chatting here)
- A working microphone (required)
- A webcam is a bonus, but not required
- Either a pen & paper character sheet or an account on D&D Beyond (free to sign up)
- We'll be using Owlbear Rodeo for the virtual tabletop (VTT) – no account needed, but making one gives a better experience
📜 The Adventure: You’ll be stepping into a classic module from the early days of D&D – expect strange ruins, weird happenings, and plenty of danger. (Player characters may die...)
⚔️ This will be a self-contained session with a mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat. All characters will start at level 2.
📅 Date & Time: Thursday 24th April at 7.30pm.
If you’re interested, drop a message in #rpg-chat or DM @Anam! Let me know your level of experience, any questions you have, and whether you’d prefer to roll your own character (4d6, drop 1, assign to whichever stat you want) or pick from some pregens. Just a note, character creation is deliberately confusing at the moment on D&D Beyond due to the 2024 rules having launched. We will be playing 2014 5e though
