Backend Upgrade & New Server Listing Update
Summary
CommunityOne Builders Help announces a backend upgrade to audit outages and optimize processes plus a new server listing focused on speed and memory. Content-rich servers and threads (with explicit permissions) will rank higher, improving discoverability for topics like Minecraft SMP. UI tests will follow to encourage reading over image-driven clicks.
Quick update on what we are working on

Backend upgrade: we continue to see occasional outages on the website part. We are auditing all of our processes and continue to optimize them. This might take a while!

New server listing: Almost done! But we are working to optimize speed and memory usage before releasing it. Please find attached some screenshots. One of the biggest winners among the new server listing pages will be content-rich servers. This means that if a user is searching for Minecraft SMP and you have a thread about it, your rank will be higher, and the thread content will be shown to the member. (The thread will have explicit permissions from both you and the OP).
After the new backend algo change, we will start testing different UI designs to enourage users to read what you do, rather than clicking based on images and banners.
