Electroneum App & Wallets Closing July 12 2026
Summary
The Electroneum announcement states the Electroneum App and my.electroneum wallets will close on 12th July 2026 and transactional functionality has already ceased. Users must download their private key and transfer ETN to third-party Web3-compatible wallets such as Zypto. This change follows Electroneum's move to full EVM and Web3 compatibility and the broader availability of advanced wallet options.

The Electroneum App and https://my.electroneum.com/ wallets are closing on 12th July 2026.
All transactional functionality of the Electroneum App and https://my.electroneum.com/ wallet system has already ceased. The ONLY way to access / transfer or transact with any ETN stored in this wallet system is to download your Private Key and make use of a third-party wallet system. There are plenty of third-party wallet systems that are easy to use and offer advanced features, so pick whichever one that works for you!
Why is it shutting down?
The Electroneum blockchain has come a long way since its launch and is now fully EVM- and Web3-compatible. The Electroneum App and wallet systems are not fully Web3-compatible wallets, and since there are many excellent third-party wallet providers, it doesn't make sense to update our systems. Many of these projects provide far more functionality than could ever be provided via the Electroneum App, such as wide-ranging support of other cryptocurrencies and even VISA debit card facilities (see the Zypto app that now fully supports ETN).
