VGC Team Help: Swap Picks and Teambuilding Tips

Summary

In Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments a new player shares a draft team and asks for teambuilding improvements. Discussion covers swapping Primarina Aerodactyl and Dragonite for Pelipper Basculegion and Archaludon, using a mega stone on Aerodactyl, Dragon Fang on Dragonite, considering Raichu Y, and options like Wide Guard Ice Fang and tailwind synergy.

but i can try to scout for other mons

smartinbox-23

Do you have any particular mons there that you really want to use/keep in the team?

smartinbox-23

The team rn is not bad, I would just replace choice scarf with rhe mega stone for Aerodactyl

smartinbox-23

And run dragon fang on dnite with Dragon Claw probably

smartinbox-23

And probably go with Raichu Y instead, but I haven't tested X yet

hazelarcher-78 OP

ohh okok thanks for the insights

smartinbox-23

Wide Guard and ice fang are interesting options for Mega Aero too

smartinbox-23

It usually runs tailwind but you already have Whimsy atm
