youngxenon-79

where are you falling short?

fairnoodle-34 OP

Tbh its very solid rn, theres really no where in particular i am falling short, i just wonder if i get some fresh eyes on it, if theres something im not seeing

fairnoodle-34 OP

Like a set that may work better or an item or ev spread that could help even more then what i have

snowypanther-61

Idr see much that's badd

fairnoodle-34 OP

Tbh me either, about the only thing bugging me is i cant seem to find a way to make my bascu bulkier but im trading that off by trying to make it as fast and hit as hard as possible

youngxenon-79

is basc losing ohkos

fairnoodle-34 OP

More off my own misplays tbh

youngxenon-79

js slap a sash and go adaptability

youngxenon-79

or run swift swim

youngxenon-79

if its your own misplays then i dont think you should change basc

fairnoodle-34 OP

I already run swift swim on bascu

youngxenon-79

good point

youngxenon-79

why are we running perish on it tho

youngxenon-79

to close out endgames?

youngxenon-79

i used to do that but now i only use it IF i have a free slot

fairnoodle-34 OP

Tbh, i think im gonna switch that for like scald or icy wind

youngxenon-79

that would make sense

youngxenon-79

but in that situation why not try peli

youngxenon-79

since it gets tw wb wide guard (very valuable nowadays)

fairnoodle-34 OP

As for pelipper vs toed, i picked toed for bulk, its kinda bulkier then pelipper in most cases

@fairnoodle-34 As for pelipper vs toed, i picked toed for bulk, its kinda bulkier then pelipper in most cases
youngxenon-79

peli can be bulkier i mean

@youngxenon-79 peli can be bulkier i mean
fairnoodle-34 OP

But then i feel wierd having not one but two tailwind users

youngxenon-79

drop tw on volc for protect idk

fleetvalley-28

Peli does give wide guard coverage

youngxenon-79

just dont run tw

youngxenon-79

i dont see the issue with 2 tws

youngxenon-79

you just have more flexibility with speed control

youngxenon-79

icy wind does the same thing but slower and only affects your opponents if they stay in

youngxenon-79

which usually after 2 drops most ppl switch out

fleetvalley-28

Forcing a switch can give you better positioning, so there is nothing bad there

fleetvalley-28

If you can make a prediction, it could just win the game

youngxenon-79

there are other ways to force switched i guess

youngxenon-79

but yea the point is true

fairnoodle-34 OP

I may try with peliper tbh

fairnoodle-34 OP

And i may switch out tailwind on volc for like quiver dance

fairnoodle-34 OP

Thats….kinda bad

fairnoodle-34 OP

32 SpA Rotom Thunderbolt vs. 29 HP / 31+ SpD Pelipper through Light Screen: 152-179 (92.6 - 109.1%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO

youngxenon-79

thats a quad weakness... 💔💔

youngxenon-79

for a mon with questionably low bulk stats

youngxenon-79

just run sash atp

@fairnoodle-34 Okay any thing i am missing here? Any ideas of how i can maybe get alittle extra out of this team?…
fleetvalley-28

I would lowkey see if aqua jet gives you any value or a another move. You already have Muddy Water, which can miss, and hydro pump can also miss. I would try something reliable. Ik you have your Basculegion-F for sp-attck, but it would suck if it comes down to a miss

fleetvalley-28

Is one thing I can see

@fleetvalley-28 I would lowkey see if aqua jet gives you any value or a another move. You already have Muddy Water,…
fairnoodle-34 OP

Yea

@youngxenon-79 thats a quad weakness... 💔💔
fairnoodle-34 OP

Yea and theres no way to ev peli to live like a rock slide or a zap cannon

@fairnoodle-34 Okay any thing i am missing here? Any ideas of how i can maybe get alittle extra out of this team?…
fleetvalley-28

And see how much value does perish song gives you. You can force a switch, but that is pretty much it. Without shadow tag you really don’t threaten them that much, but maybe is just me that don’t use it. Icy wind could help as more coverage and speed control

fairnoodle-34 OP

Yea

fleetvalley-28

Or even manual rain dance for an unexpected surprise if you feel silly

fairnoodle-34 OP

Yea lol

fairnoodle-34 OP

Its supposed to be adamant
