CityPulse v1.5 District Influence Update

🚨 CITYPULSE v1.5 IS HERE 🚨

District Influence & Momentum Update

CityPulse just took a major step forward.

Up until now, districts could feel active, quiet, dangerous, trusted, or full of opportunity in the moment.
With v1.5, districts now begin to remember pressure over time.

This update introduces the foundation for district influence and territorial momentum — which means city activity is no longer just a short burst on the feed. Repeated actions now start pushing districts in real directions.

🌆 What this means

A district is no longer only:

  • busy
  • unstable
  • calm
  • in trouble

Now it can actually begin to feel like it is:

  • Stabilizing
  • Recovering
  • Slipping
  • Contested
  • Under Criminal Pressure
  • Volatile
  • Fragile
  • Steady

This is the first layer of districts developing identity through repeated player activity.

✅ Added in CityPulse v1.5

⚖️ New District Influence System

Districts now track:

  • Lawful Influence
  • Unlawful Influence
  • Momentum

This creates a real directional trend for each area instead of only showing a temporary snapshot.

🔄 Momentum Decay & Drift

Districts now slowly move back toward neutral over time unless activity keeps pushing them.
That means influence has to be maintained, not just triggered once.

🎭 Scenario Missions now affect district momentum

Scenario outcomes now feed directly into the new influence system.

That means:

  • lawful wins can help a district recover or stabilize
  • unlawful wins can increase criminal pressure
  • failed, abandoned, or timed-out scenario results can also affect district direction

🚨 Incidents now add district pressure

City incidents now contribute to unlawful pressure depending on their severity.

Repeated disruption can now help push a district toward:

  • Slipping
  • Volatile
  • Under Criminal Pressure

🛡️ Responder actions now push recovery

Responder activity now helps districts push back toward order.

Lawful presence and stabilizing actions can now help move areas toward:

  • Stabilizing
  • Recovering
  • Steady

📱 Districts Tab upgraded

The Districts tab now includes a full Influence Panel, showing:

  • current district influence state
  • lawful pressure
  • unlawful pressure
  • trend direction
  • influence summary text

This makes it easier to understand not just what a district feels like right now — but where it is heading.

🔥 Why this matters

This update is important because it creates the first real foundation for future systems like:

  • district control pressure
  • crime zone momentum
  • long-term territorial influence
  • lawful vs unlawful tug-of-war
  • deeper city identity shifts over time

This is not full territory warfare yet.

This is the system that makes those future features possible in a way that feels earned.

🧠 In simple terms

Before v1.5:

“Something happened here.”

Now:

“This district has been getting pushed in a direction.”

That is a huge change for how the city feels.

🧪 What to watch for

As you play, keep an eye on districts changing based on repeated activity.
If a district keeps getting hit with pressure, it should begin to reflect that.
If players keep responding and building things back up, that should start showing too.

🏙️ CityPulse is becoming more than a feed

It is becoming the city’s memory.

And this is only the start.

More is coming. 👀

Crisis Events v1 Live in RE:ENVISON CITY

🚨 Crisis Events v1 is now live in Re:Envision City! 🚨

The city can now fall into real trouble.

We’ve officially rolled out Crisis Events v1, a new district-wide live event system built to make the world feel more volatile, reactive, and alive. These are not just missions. These are district conditions that can push players into response, sabotage, opportunity, and chaos in real time.

✅ What’s in this update

District-Wide Crisis Events

Crisis Events can now hit a district and place it under real pressure.

Current launch crisis types:

  • Power Grid Failure — restore or sabotage a district’s failing power network
  • Hazard Spill / Gas Leak — contain a dangerous environmental crisis or exploit it
  • Civil Unrest / Riot Pressure — stabilize public disorder or push the district further into chaos

Real In-World Interaction

We kept pushing away from command-heavy gameplay.

Crisis actions now use:

  • in-world interaction points
  • timed actions
  • animations during the action
  • interruption/cancel behavior
  • lawful and unlawful response paths

District Pressure & Response

Each crisis can:

  • enter warning state
  • go active
  • escalate
  • stabilize
  • resolve successfully or fail
  • enter recovery

This gives districts a stronger sense of real-time instability instead of feeling static.

CityPulse Integration

Crisis Events are built to work with CityPulse so the city actually knows when things are going wrong.

That includes:

  • district warning notifications
  • active crisis updates
  • escalation/stabilization feedback
  • resolution/aftermath support
  • stronger citywide awareness of live district pressure

Lawful vs Unlawful Opportunity

Crisis Events are not just for responders.

Depending on the event, players can:

  • repair nodes
  • secure routes
  • contain hazardous zones
  • deliver critical materials
  • sabotage stabilization efforts
  • steal resources
  • incite disorder

This means crises create both response gameplay and opportunist gameplay.

Crisis-to-Scenario Linkage

Crisis Events can now help generate related live scenario opportunities, helping tie the district pressure system into the broader activity loop.

That means crises are not just isolated events — they can help create follow-up content and city momentum.

Balance, Stability, and Cleanup Pass

This release also includes:

  • pacing and severity adjustments
  • escalation/stabilization tuning
  • no-response expiry handling
  • abandoned crisis cleanup
  • improved admin/debug support
  • stronger runtime tracking for crisis health

🔥 Why this matters

Crisis Events push the city closer to feeling like a real, shifting world.

Instead of districts just existing as background scenery, they can now:

  • come under strain
  • demand response
  • create danger
  • reward involvement
  • leave aftermath behind

That means the city is starting to develop actual pressure, not just content.

👀 What this sets up next

Crisis Events v1 lays the groundwork for bigger district systems moving forward:

  • stronger district momentum
  • deeper CityPulse reactions
  • future crime zone systems
  • smarter territorial pressure
  • more meaningful district identity over time

📣 We want feedback

Jump in and tell us:

  • which crisis type feels best
  • which one needs tuning
  • whether lawful and unlawful options feel fair
  • whether the districts feel more alive under pressure
  • whether the pacing feels exciting or overwhelming

The city can now break down.

What you do next decides whether it recovers. 🌆⚠️

CityPulse v1.4 Live Find Action Now

🌆 CityPulse v1.4 is LIVE!

This update turns CityPulse into a much stronger “What can I do right now?” tool.

You can now use CityPulse to find live activity, trending districts, scenario missions, nearby opportunities, lawful/unlawful options, hobby scenes, and waypoint-ready things to check out around the city.

The full changelog is attached below, and it breaks down everything added in v1.4 — including Quick Picks, better Hobbies guidance, Scenario Mission surfacing, District Opportunity Cards, routing improvements, and smarter low-activity suggestions.

If you’re wondering where to go, what’s happening, or how to jump into the city faster:

Scenario Missions v1 Live in Re:Envision City

🚨 Scenario Missions v1 is now live in Re:Envision City! 🚨

The city just got a whole lot more alive.

We’ve officially rolled out Scenario Missions v1, a new live-world activity system designed to make Re:Envision City feel active, reactive, and worth jumping into at any moment. These missions are bigger than standard tasks, tied into district momentum, and built to push players into real activity across the map.

✅ What’s in this update

Live Scenario Missions

Scenarios can now appear around the city and wait for players to jump in.

Current launch scenarios:

  • Medical Supply Run — lawful/community response mission
  • Illicit Courier Intercept — contested lawful vs unlawful package mission
  • Armored Van Incident — contested high-risk public incident

In-World Gameplay

We’ve pushed away from command-heavy gameplay as much as possible.

That means scenarios now support:

  • world prompts
  • join points
  • mission board access
  • objective markers
  • in-world progression
  • cleaner player-facing interactions

Commands are mainly kept for admin/testing/debug use now.

Scenario Board + HUD

Players can now use the Scenario Board to see what’s active and jump in more easily.
The active mission tracker has also been cleaned up so it’s easier to follow during a scenario.

CityPulse Integration

Scenario Missions now tie into the city loop more directly.

That includes:

  • notifications when new scenarios appear
  • guidance to head to the join point
  • support for CityPulse alert/result integration
  • stronger connection between district activity and live content

Auto-Spawn + Rotation

Scenarios no longer have to rely only on manual staff spawning.

The system now supports:

  • automatic scenario spawning
  • weighted rotation
  • district-aware logic
  • repeat protection
  • cleaner pacing across the city

District Intelligence

Scenarios now have better logic behind where and why they appear.

District condition can now help influence what kind of live content is more likely to show up, helping the city feel more reactive instead of random.

Balance + Stability Pass

This release also includes a major closeout pass on:

  • reward balancing
  • contribution tracking
  • anti-leech logic
  • cleanup handling
  • expiry/abandon behavior
  • admin/debug support

🔥 Why this matters

Scenario Missions are a major step toward making the city feel like a place where something is always happening.

Instead of waiting around and asking “what should I do?”, the city can now start answering that question on its own.

👀 What to expect next

With Scenario Missions v1 in place, this pushes us closer to the next major CityPulse improvements and the broader live-world content roadmap.

More scenario depth, better CityPulse activity guidance, and stronger district/world reactions are all on the table from here.

📣 We want feedback

As always, jump in, test it, break it, and tell us how it feels.

We want to know:

  • which scenario is the most fun
  • which one needs tuning
  • how the pacing feels
  • whether rewards feel fair
  • whether the city feels more alive because of it

The city is evolving. Now go answer the call. 🌆

CityPulse v1.3 — Dynamic City Activity Update

📡 CityPulse v1.3 is now live

The city just got a whole lot more reactive. 🔥🌆

This update pushes CityPulse further beyond being just a phone app and deeper into becoming a real city activity system. Crime, public danger, responder presence, and organized movement now have a stronger impact on how districts feel and what the city feed reflects. 📈🚨

🆕 What v1.3 brings

CityPulse now responds more directly to what players are doing across the map. Districts can shift based on momentum, pressure, danger, activity, and responder influence, making the city feel more alive, more unstable, and more player-driven. ⚡

📝 v1.3 Changelog

🌍 District System Expansion

  • District moods and activity tracking were expanded
  • Districts can now feel calm, building, buzzing, surging, trusted, volatile, unsafe, and more
  • Recent activity, live pressure, and active player presence now have more impact on district feel

🚓🚑🚒 District Pressure & Response

  • District response pressure is now better reflected through CityPulse
  • High-risk activity can push districts into more dangerous states
  • Active responder presence helps stabilize districts and shift how those areas feel

📢 Live Feed Improvements

  • Districts can now generate stronger automatic feed updates
  • The feed now better reflects major shifts in danger, activity, and momentum across the city
  • CityPulse feels more like a living system instead of a static activity board

🔗 Integrated Systems in v1.3

🏦 Bank Robberies

  • Bank robberies now impact CityPulse
  • Alarm/escalation moments now affect city pressure
  • Blackout-linked activity is now reflected through CityPulse

🛒 Store Robberies

  • Register hits, alarms, and safe progression now affect district pressure

🏁 Street Races

  • Race meetups and race starts now influence CityPulse instead of happening in isolation

👮 Police Presence

  • District stability now better reflects active law enforcement presence
  • Police remain fully player-driven with no AI/NPC police replacing real officers

🩺 EMS Presence

  • EMS treatment, revives, and medical coverage now help stabilize city conditions

🚒 Firefighter Presence

  • Fire-related incidents and firefighter response now connect into CityPulse

📦 Drug Deliveries

  • Organized drug delivery activity now contributes to district pressure and city movement

🌆 What this means

The city is starting to feel more connected.

A district with active responders should feel different from one under pressure.
A quiet part of the map should feel different from one building toward chaos.
Major activity is starting to shape the atmosphere of the city in a more visible way. 🔥⚠️✅

That is the core of CityPulse v1.3.

Closing Note

This closes out the current v1.3 integration pass for now. A few systems were reviewed and held back for later due to limited access or less reliable integration paths, but this update already adds a major new layer to how the city reacts.

Get in, stir things up, respond to it, and see how the city moves. 🌃📱

📡 CityPulse v1.3 is live.

CityPulse v1.2 Living Districts Update

📱 CityPulse v1.2 — Living Districts Update is Now Live

CityPulse just got a major upgrade.

Version 1.2 takes the app beyond being just a phone menu and pushes it closer to what it was always meant to be: a system that helps the city feel alive, reactive, and shaped by player activity.

What’s New in v1.2

🌆 Living Districts
Districts now track more than static Hype and Trust. They also react to what is happening in real time, including player presence, recent momentum, live category pressure, and notable influence within the area.

👥 Active Player Presence
CityPulse now tracks which districts players are physically gathering in. Districts can recognize when people are building a scene, moving crowds, or clustering into hotspots.

⭐ Player Influence Scoring
Not every player presence is treated the same anymore. Fame, Heat, and live activity now help determine how strongly a player influences the feel of a district. A well-known creator, rising figure, or high-heat presence can now affect district behavior far more than random foot traffic.

🎵🎯 Activity-Based District Identity
Live activity and recent behavior now help shape what a district is currently known for. Music, cars, nightlife, business, sports, and community activity can all help drive a district’s live category.

📈 District Momentum
Districts now remember what has been happening recently. Live activity and completed events contribute to short-term momentum, helping areas feel like they are building, surging, stabilizing, or becoming volatile.

🧠 Smarter District Mood Logic
District moods are now far more dynamic. Instead of only feeling flat or generic, districts can now read as:

  • Quiet
  • Calm
  • Building
  • Buzzing
  • Surging
  • Trusted
  • Steady
  • Hotspot
  • Celebrated
  • Volatile
  • Unsafe

This gives CityPulse a much better sense of the city’s social atmosphere.

📰 Automated District Feed Updates
CityPulse can now automatically generate district-related feed posts when something important is happening. That means the app can report on rising hotspots, growing crowds, trusted scenes, unstable areas, and district momentum without relying only on manual player-created posts.

📊 Districts Page Overhaul
The Districts tab now has a much stronger read on each area, including improved status summaries, player counts, energy, risk, momentum, mood, spotlight influence, and category pressure. District data should now feel far more useful and immersive.

Why This Matters

CityPulse v1.2 is a big step toward making the city feel responsive.

This update helps turn districts into social zones with identity instead of just map areas with numbers. It gives more meaning to hosting events, building fame, stirring up attention, and becoming known in the city.

The goal is simple:
make the city feel like it reacts to the people shaping it.

What’s Next

This update lays the groundwork for even deeper district behavior, stronger event impact, richer city storytelling, and more connected systems moving forward.

For now, jump in, create activity, build your name, stir up your district, and watch the city respond.

CityPulse v1.2 is live.

NPC Shop Pass Complete — RE:ENVISON CITY Update

📦 Changelog — NPC Shop Utility Pass Complete

The next layer of city utility has officially been completed.

This phase focused on strengthening the everyday world loop by improving NPC-supported shop access across the city, making sure players have more consistent access to important goods without muddying the purpose of each store type.

What was completed:

💊 Pharmacies Added

  • Pharmacy shop support has been added
  • Pharmacy location was set up and tested
  • Medical item access has been expanded through a proper dedicated shop type

🔫 Gun Stores Restored

  • Gun store access has been brought back online
  • Ammu-Nation/shop functionality was restored and tested
  • Weapon shop coverage is now back in the city loop

🛒 NPC Shop Inventory Audit

  • Existing NPC-supported shops were reviewed
  • Weak or limited item pools were cleaned up where needed
  • Store roles were kept more intentional so each shop type feels more useful and distinct

✅ Result
The city now has stronger baseline utility support through its NPC shop network, giving players better access to key items while helping the world feel more complete and functional.

Added a CityPulse Status view so players can check their current district, district mood, Fame, Heat, and overall reaction state
Added ambient NPC reaction behavior so the city can respond differently to players depending on reputation and district conditions

🌆 Districts & World Activity

Districts now track and display:
Hype
Trust
current live activity count
recent activity count
district status label

Celebrated

Infamous
NPCs can now react differently depending on how known, trusted, or dangerous a player feels in a district

📊 App Improvements

Improved Feed behavior
Improved Districts tab behavior
Improved live activity rendering
Improved state refresh behavior when activity updates happen
Continued support for:

Hobbies
Sponsors

🛠️ Fixes & Stability

Fixed Feed loading issues
Fixed Districts loading issues
Fixed multiple callback and function-order problems that were causing tabs to fail
Fixed keybind and status access issues
Cleaned up data flow between live activities, district stats, and the phone UI
Improved overall reliability of CityPulse state updates

✅ Result
