Optimizing Your Steel-Type VGC Team | Pokémon Champions

I've done this before, but I'll do it again because the new regulations are coming. I'd also like to use this team in regular ranked not only on yhis server. I can have 2 non-steel pokemon but they are good (other version of Wolfey team tbf )

Problems:

  • My goat orthworm is bad in this team so we need to add other steel type... so we need to swap him for other

  • Lucario is a calss Cannon ( hope z-mega will fix this ).

Goal:
I want it to be my normal team to use because I love all of the pokemon there (RIP my goat orthworm :zz_poketypesteel:)

I have good pokemon knowledge tho in VCG is not that good.

You have free hand on this. Just pls don't swap the entire team. Just my problems and mabey some amendments.

Hope you can help me

Mega Salamence & Golisopod VGC Theorycrafting | Pokémon

no pokepaste this time around because we dont have all items yet

mega mence will be running a pretty standard mixed set with double edge, hyper voice, dragon claw/draco meteor and protect

golisopod (if his ability isnt horrible) is here for fairies (floette) and will be running first impression, iron head, probably some coverage move or swords dance and protect

the next duo is tsareena and milotic who are there to counter the incineroar/rillaboom core, tsareena can deal with rillaboom by using triple axel and stopping fake out and grassy glide and milotic with comptitive prevents the standard switching game

in the past i used to run a no protect hypnosis set on milotic (coil, muddy water, hypnosis, recover) and while it has performed well, wood hammer by rillaboom is an issue
so the new set will be something along the lines of muddy water, icy wind, coverage or recover, protect with some more points in special attack and speed (probably enough to outspeed incineroar)

tsareena will be running a pretty standard set of triple axel, power whip, low kick and protect with wide lens for some extra consistency (evs are pending, im open to suggestions)

the next pokemon on the team is bulky support dragonite with an attack (probably dragon claw or espeed), ice spinner to remove grassy terrain, tailwind and coverage or protect (once again move suggestions are welcome)
the ability will be multiscale or inner focus if fake out ends up being problematic

and im not really sure what the 6th pokemon should be, some stuff that i have thought of are:

incineroar for support and to round out a water-fire-grass core
sneasler for floette and fake out, because as is if i get team preview wrong against big 6 im in trouble
kingambit for the same reason as sneasler (and defiant)
sylveon for some good damage however opposing steel types might be a problem in that case

Clawitzer Terrain Pulse Team Help | Pokémon Champions

i tried to make a team around clawitzer's terrain pulse, since it seemed really strong on paper. for this i wanted two terrain options, which i picked to be electric since its easy to bring on the field with raichu-X, and psychic, since I've seen expanding force doing some good damage. in order to make use of expanding force i picked hatterene as another damage dealer and to set the psychic terrain. farigiraf protects against priority attacks and can set trickroom when needed (clawitzer is pretty slow, hatterene is extremely slow, enemies may tailwind to outspeed raichu). outside of trickroom i planned to redirect attacks away from clawitzer with rage powder or follow me. in the end i chose sinistcha with follow me. and since i had a trickroom plan anyway and i wanted a strong mega threat outside of raichu and also a physical attacker since my team seemed to special-sided who also shouldn't be flying so they can benefit from the terrain, i picked mawile to round up the team. clawitzer has aura sphere as coverage over dark pulse or dragon pulse since mawile already has dark moves and i wanted to keep opponent dark mons in check. farigiraf is build to survive kow cleave and another similar strong physical attack so it can set up trick room. hatterene is build to survive sneeslers dire claw and still set up psychic terrain (except when sneezler has life orb, then hatterene cant be saved). other than that i think the movepool and EVs of my pokemon are pretty basic. i am trying out this team in low masterball rank but it isn't doing as well as i hoped so id like to know if there's something that can be improved. here is the rental code: 0E8GJ3WJA3

Optimizing VGC Teams: Crawdaunt Strategies & TR Builds

Ah yes, while Mr. Craw has been a singles wallbreaker for ages, some random lobster has come to take the same place but in VGC.
https://pokepast.es/a5bb2bf67ad1f347
I wanna find a mega that fits on this team, some changes to the other member's sets or replacements too while I'm at it.
