Semuta Cartel Servers Back! Hotfix 1.2.20.4 Live

Summary

The Semuta Cartel (Gaming/ Casino Comunity Hub) announced that their servers are back online following the release of Hotfix 1.2.20.4. This hotfix primarily reverts a recent change to NPC melee behavior that caused issues with shield penetration after slow blade attacks. While the developers plan to reintroduce the intended player-like NPC behavior later with further balance adjustments, this immediate rollback aims to improve the current gameplay experience.

The servers are coming back online and patch notes for 1.2.20.4 Hotfix are available.

Fixes

  • Reverted a change introduced in 1.2.20.0 to NPC melee behavior. This change addressed an issue where some NPCs were not dashing out correctly after a slow blade attack penetrated their shield. This occurred when the attacker was using a short blade, regardless of the NPC’s stamina level.
  • While this is an intended change that aligns with our goal of making enemy NPCs behave more like players who adhere to the same combat engagement rules, without other balance adjustments they might not be as enjoyable for everyone as we’d like.
  • We understand that some of you who enjoyed the new behavior might be disappointed and we can’t wait to bring it back along with the rest of the balance changes we have in store at a later date.
