How do you come in so hot being so blatantly and confidently wrong you’re willing to call me braindead but can’t even fact check before typing out your reply 😭😭 must be awkward
Oh I am very sorry I didn't even read your line properly, I thought u said, it's okay to like kill. Mb dawg I didn't read it right
My bad dawg I thought u were supporting abortion
U gonna ignore the part where I said what about people who got r**ed?
Ignoring the parts you can't give an answer to
A human being conceived through r**e is still a human worthy of the right to life
Let's debate in dms
Im sorry no way you think a woman who has been abused and traumatized should carry the baby and care for it as their own when it can be easily slimed out in its early stages
It's like saying I wud kill to end someone else's suffering
Fr
Yk people got no empathy when they wanna force a women or a kid to carry a baby who was born from r#pe
Are you being serious rn
Exactly
Cus they aren't the one in such terrible circumstances
U talking abt empathy while u literally wanna kill a baby 💔😭
There's difference between a person who's out of the womb and a fetus in the womb. The fetus can't feel pain, don't have a will to live or die unlike a women who's forced to carry it
Can you come up with something like give a point instead of giving a random "are u serious" mate that doesn't move us forward in any sense
Ur being really slow rn
I'm concerned but okay
Can you give an argument as to why you think it is justified to kill a human in this stage of life because of the way it was conceived instead of just saying “no way you think this”
Ability to feel pain does not dictate your moral value. Humanity and life does. A fetus in the womb is both human and living
Empathy is believing in rights for all humans including the unborn. No empathy is when you literally talk about “sliming out” a human because of the crimes of its father
What bout the women's suffering ? Do you only care bout the fetus ?? Do you know how much pressure and mental health issues its gonna cause a r#ped women to carry on a pregnancy that she didn't want ? R#pe is already a huge traumatic experience. Forcing that women to carry that child and that reminder for 9 months is cruel. Also what bout minors ? You want a child go through the pain of giving birth just so you could feel morally superior ?
Fetus still doesn't feel pain or has a will unlike people out the womb. You can't argue with that. A fetus is so damn different from human being who's out of the womb.
Also most abortions happens in first trimester. By the even the organs are not formed
Thank you
That doesn’t argue against anything I said though. I said that ability to feel pain does not dictate your moral worth. A human is not more or less valuable because they are able or unable to feel pain.
Of course I care but the alternative choice here is literally death of a human. It’s like having two bad options and going for the worse one. Yes of course I think killing a human is leagues worse than a woman carrying an unwanted child to term. I don’t see how it wouldn’t be worse
The stage of development doesn’t mean it is not human
You're just cherry picking. The fetus WON'T feel anything but the women will. Both choices are not equally bad.
The ability to feel pain does matter cause that's what makes it different from killing children. If you think killing a child and aborting a fetus is the same then there's nothing to be said, you're just ill in the head.
If the baby was older then 4 months. I would agree
That's 2nd trimester most times abortions on 2nd and 3rd trimester doesn't happen cause it's harmful for both the mother and fetus.
I never said equally bad. I specifically said that killing a human is leagues WORSE than having to carry a baby to term
Some will take the risk a lot will do actually
Thus proved you only care bout the unborn fetus. Not the unwanted baby, not the mother not anyone else. Idk how you can just downplay how bad r#pe is how it affects women. Willing to fck up someone's mental health just to feel morally superior
Why does ability to feel pain matter to determine moral worth as a human? It doesn’t. People under anesthesias, in comas, or conditions that eliminate their pain perception don’t become less valuable do they? You can’t just kill someone because they can’t feel pain.
Doctors mostly won't do abortions in that cases, unless it's a medical emergency like the fetus already died inside the mother's womb
No I care about everyone involved I just think death is the worst option I feel like you aren’t understanding this
That makes sense ofc a doctor won't do something harmful to their patient
All these people you mentioned have something called "will" like the will to live and the will to die
Ok so it’s not about pain perception then. It is about will to live? Will to live defines your moral value?
You are moving goal posts
If you think death is the worst thing that could happen to someone your thinking capabilities are really weak
I talked bout both will and pain, you only cherry picked on the pain factor
Ok well lay out your criteria for what makes a life that is morally valuable. Clearly it does not align with what is considered a human life by any scientific or medical consensus
So is it ability to feel pain and will to live that means you can’t kill someone now?
Lay it out in plain terms
It's not that any life is more valuable, the fact is a women should have the right to carry or not carry a fetus in HER womb. And it's what makes abortions okay but killing children is not.
Kids out of the womb - can feel pain, has the will to live, is not inside someone's else womb, they're their own person.
Fetus- complete opposite of this.
Also it's not killing anyone. If someone stabbed a pregnant women in the stomach and caused abortion it's bad, cause the mother didn't consent to it. Also not everyone can decide if the fetus can get aborted. It's just the mother, who's carrying the kid in the womb.
Also what bout the kids born due to making abortions illegal ? Who's gonna take care of them ? Is it better to live and suffer or just not be born
