Well, I do have that as an issue of them not having high social or intellectual knowledge to be able to seek facts Nd ask questions where need be, things follow a due Nd logical process. But in the end I would say you can't change those traits in people. They would assume or say what they want in the end, kinda depends on the person. So do it unintentionally and are ready to be interacted with if you state out what they did and why it was an assumption, they might be open for correction. Well, some do it intentionally, believing that maybe since you show signs or hold opinions based on something that you are that. Some people are already used to doing that and can't necessary be reasoned with.
