Chivalry is almost dead(not until I and my friends are living lol).
Women were the price in the relationship- it was traditional, we know this because men have always been hunters. And as strategies of hunting, men had come up with different things to attract women or seduce women!!
Chivalry was one of the thing(based on idea of treating valuable people with care).
But the thing that happened is there was a shift in that dynamic- women gave away themselves too easy to men and even worse to men who were never very good at responsibility!!(bad boy arc).
The shift became that men were the price now- so they started questioning if I am the price then what does the woman bring to the table for me??
As a result chivalry got killed- as men now did not think that being chivalrous is necessary anymore.
Also the feminism movement also had a big role I think!!

Chivalry is a character trait, not something used as leverage against women. Open doors for EVERYONE without expecting a thank you in return. Be sincere in your courtesy toward EVERYONE, without expecting the same in return. That’s character—which is something you do not have! 😉
