Re:Envision City Halloween Event Playtest

Summary

Re:Envision City is running a Halloween event playtest ahead of its official launch. Test candy-powered zombie, ghost, alien, and giant coyote forms, explore unusual NPC encounters, and compare Halloween weather effects. Reporting bugs and checking details like /hwreturn helps prepare the event for the community.

🎃 Help us test our upcoming Halloween event!

Our Halloween event officially starts soon! For now, we’re running a playtest in R:E City to check the features and catch bugs before launch.

Search jack-o’-lanterns with E for candy that transforms you into a zombie, ghost, alien or “werewolf" (large coyote). There’s also a rare chance to find one bonus Mythex!

Explore graveyard zombies, Chiliad alien patrols, street cosplayers and possessed wildlife. Halloween weather boosts creature activity, lantern availability and rare-drop odds.

Forms last five minutes, or use /hwreturn to return early. Wait 60 seconds before transforming again.

Player test checklist

[ ] Collect candy; check that cancelling a lantern search gives no reward.

[ ] Try all four forms: check animation, matching smoke, ghost transparency and giant coyote size.

[ ] Test with a friend—both players should see the correct transformation.

[ ] Test /hwreturn and expiry. Check restored appearance, inventory and controls.

[ ] Watch graveyard NPCs become infected, stumble, die and rise with green/red smoke.

[ ] Find Chiliad aliens, friendly cosplayers and possessed animals. Report stuck, floating or duplicated NPCs.

[ ] Compare normal and Halloween weather for extra lanterns and creature activity.

[ ] If you receive Mythex, confirm exactly one bonus item alongside your candy.

Report bugs with your location, form, weather and steps to reproduce. Screenshots or clips help us prepare for the official launch!
