Looking to build a team around Espathra with speed boost using coaching or calm mind to baton pass into another threat. The thing I’m having trouble with, though, is I don’t know what to baton pass into. Any tips?

I’m not super clued up on building Espathra tbh but I think it’s a bit rough in a non-Tera format. If it’s not your main sweeper it might be a bit easier though!
I think realistically your target depends on the rest of your team - if you don’t have much speed control outside of Espathra’s Speed Boost you’d maybe want to send it to smth already fast so it counteracts non-TR speed control, but if you have a lot of your own speed control something slower and bulkier could be a menace with the boosts
TL;DR think of Espathra more of an accessory for a sweeper you want to build around
Right now I’m thinking farigiraf to support Espathra and protect it while it sets up
For something to pass to, I think stored power could be good, if a bit overkill. Rotom wash, mega delphox, slowbro, and primarina could use this.
