I’m trying to build a Charizard X floette team but I’m struggling to find proper teammates beside sinishcha. I’m also not fully sure what the EVs should be for the existing mons other than sinishcha. Also please don’t recommend incineroar, sneasler, kingambit, farig, or gholdengo.

quickjester-17

Okay I gotta ask why those Mon aren't okay specifically and I have answers

quickjester-17

And is this Charizard X or did you mean that like Charizard and Floette

quickjester-17
daringcomet-52 OP

To answer your first question it’s really a personal vendetta against them and I would prefer to be able to beat them instead of using them

daringcomet-52 OP

And when I put Charizard X I mean mega Charizard X

quickjester-17

Okay noted lemme cook

quickjester-17

Ok I'm about to leave work so can't finish this but for type coverage it looks good

quickjester-17

So the basic idea is you have two different forms of speed control. Icy wind on Zoroark and tailwind on whims. Tinkaton covers a lot of the things that Charizard X does not like such as rock types and other dragons. Rotom wash also is a zard counter with scarf and allows for a switch into the Omni present eq spam

daringcomet-52 OP

A few things tho

daringcomet-52 OP

I mentioned in the post that I already am using a sinishcha

daringcomet-52 OP

This is how the team looks

daringcomet-52 OP

I can replace sinishcha with Maushold tho

daringcomet-52 OP

I also think we should add a mon to punish intimidate

quickjester-17

Sinistcha just feels like dead weight as most the moves that hit xard for super effective is going to be spread hyper voice, eq, rock slide

daringcomet-52 OP

Good point

daringcomet-52 OP

But it can heal the team as well as well as hitting swampert

daringcomet-52 OP

Also if I’m going with your version should make tink own tempo?

daringcomet-52 OP

Also I just realized that your team doesn’t really punish intimidate

quickjester-17

If you want that why not use milotic over wash

quickjester-17

And why would I need to worry about intimidate when the team is mostly special attackers

daringcomet-52 OP

I was worried about zard X

quickjester-17

It has dragon dance it would just be +1 speed and tbf that fine

daringcomet-52 OP

Also if the main moves that worry the team are spread then why no wide guard

quickjester-17

Besides most will expect yard and probably leave the cat at home

daringcomet-52 OP

True

daringcomet-52 OP

But I also want a team for tourneys

daringcomet-52 OP

So I didn’t specify

quickjester-17

Because the team is very much a punch really really hard. You could put aero over whims for wide guard but whims is nice because of encore

daringcomet-52 OP

Ok

quickjester-17

Though aero does suddenly seem nice

quickjester-17

:hmm:

daringcomet-52 OP

So what if I put aero on the sinischa variant

daringcomet-52 OP

Wide guard and rage powder support

quickjester-17

If you did that I'd probably tell you to

Ok

daringcomet-52 OP

So question

daringcomet-52 OP

Is there any way to optimize the team while keeping the megas the and staying with the redirect wide guard plan

daringcomet-52 OP

Nvm
