Hey, I’ve followed the competitive scene for a while but never really participated. I haven’t followed much post champions release but I’d like to get into it. Since I don’t have much competitive experience and don’t know the current meta idk where to start team building. I’d like to make a Mega Zard team, whether it be x or y or one for each. Can yall help me?

zard y is the meta rn
and its really easy to make teams with it
yeah you basically just put zard y with 5 other meta mons and you win. It's so good that you don't really even need another mon to take advantage of the sun and you'll still get amazing value.
the two variations I've seen with it is the whism's with glimmora
and the one with sylveon
I've mostly seen those
Zard X is a monster if you can play carefully enough
The biggest difference is, Yard is a special sun spread attacker. Xard is a physical single target attacker. The only other real difference outside of those is Xard loses his 4x weakness
In fact, xard benefits most from snow over sun imo
Since aurora veil covers it so well and allows it to get dragon dance up at least once

I used to run a xard team I made. Couple other people use mine and have done allegedly 8-2 avg

I have another built that is more offensive with Sylveon in place of sinistcha
Works very well next to Xard
