I’m working on building a mega delphox team and that lets Delphox use expanding force with gravity, but I can’t win very often with it. Right now I have delphox(obviously), meowstic to set up psychic terrain and gravity, tsareena to block fake out with queenly majesty so meowstic can get both gravity and psychic terrain up, milotic for incineroar, sylveon for dark types and other problematic pokemon, and flapple because with grav apple its damage output is insane with gravity. It’s not winning very much though, so I’m trying to figure out what the main problems are with it. I have only played 4 games with it albeit, one of which I only lost because a sinistcha got a dual burn on my milotic and tsareena with matcha gotcha, and I did win once. Still feels like it’s not performing quite as well as anticipated, so any recommendations to account for weaknesses the team may have?
Why not Nasty Plot on Delphox instead of encore? That’s been really strong for me if I can get one off then start heat blasting or in this build expanding force.

Taunt on a relatively fast or bulky Mon like incin will completely shut down this team
Plus there's no terrain war going on rn
It's just Raichu X that can set terrain up upon switch in
You're better off just waiting for indeedee to be added back in for psyspam to even have a chance at working
Plus the team severely struggles against rain teams
I'm aware you have sunny day on meowstic but that simply isn't gonna be enough
Pelliper almost always run wide guard making the setup for psyspam a complete waste of time
All of the pressure is on meowstic to get the team going, and if it dies, depending on the MU you lose on the spot
Yeah you make a lot of good points. I figure redirection is probably in order, like clefable or something, then I can swap meowstic for sableye and get screens, quash, and taunt or something as well to prevent other taunts, then instead of setting terrain with meowstic I can set it with farig. Weather is also a problem but I just don’t see it fitting very well into this team, if you have any ideas for that I’m open to suggestions.
