As much as I love Mega Meowstic it’s not showing much promise anymore and falls short in ranked I need a new team comp that can help me any ideas would be awesome

yep! gives a good starting point, to see what needs changed
two options off the top of my head without starting a brand new team: 1 is keep mega meowstic and rebuild the team to support it, 2 is keep regular meowstic and find the best new centrepiece it can support
i truly don't believe mega meowstic is useless, trace can copy so many useful abilities if positioned right, it's just going to have to be used carefully; using regular meowstic would take the spotlight off of it but be less piloting-intensive for you
I don’t think it’s useless either but there’s not much support for terrain so I can’t see myself using it right now

Okay, there was a really solid mega floette team posted recently that i can send you the paste for, and i can go hunt for meganium/froslass ones too- i'd recommend trying those and then seeing what tweaks you want to make to suit you personally or what problem matchups the team is having

my current team is Mega Meganium, Meowstic, Basculegion, Pelipper, Sneasler and Archaludon
And you are only struggling against gambit
What was the matchup when you struggled
If I had to guess I'd say basc

Meowstic wouldnt appreciate it either tho
Yeah it scares me away from using Basculegion and making my backline to take a hit

Are you familiar with defensive switching? Like as a term?
Close combat with sneasler /j(please do not do this unless you've pressured Sucker Punch off the table)
You have your kingambit check built into your team already
Sucker punch isn't a one time use
But you can use mind games to make your opponent's sucker punch not viable
Basc sneasler does the mind game
Or smth
Make them want to sucker punch basc then cc sneasler
You can also protect or setup bait the sucker punch with meowstic
Pressure tf out of that Kingambit

Especially since I'm seeing more black glasses gambit than berry gambit

My Basculegion is choice scarf and my Meowstic doesn’t have protect

Usually I handle Kingambits by having Sneasler + a fire type on the field, mind games of who they're going to sucker punch on and how they're going to protect, it probably wouldn't work on any open team sheets even though or second match with the same opponent on a Bo3 but it works well on ladder because no matter who is sucker punched you're dealing crazy damage to them or their partner Pokemon

If meganium is too slow, try a mega like y zard
I do wanna try Charizard but not the Y version

It’s the only Charizard mega I like
One is special (Y) one is physical (X) it's setup and team comp is much different
X removes the 4x rock weakness and doesn't get sun on its own anymore
Instead it runs tough claws sets up with dragon dance then sweeps with that
It takes a lot more time and skill to run x-zard than y- zard
And an entirely different team setup x zard doesn't fit everywhere like y zard does
Ik the person I fought use it with Sinistcha and Incineroar

Y zard is more friendly to people trying to climb

Buddy not only am I at work, but I just told you the differences. One requires a full team rebuild that I'm happy to help with but don't have access to the information I need currently because again, I am at work, the other is just try it and see how it feels
