I'm trying to do something w/ Hatterene Magic Powder and TR w/ Golurk. This team is super fresh so any advice is appreciated!

It turns a pokemon into a psychic type
The idea is like hatterene sets up trick room and gets magic powder up, and then I can get suprise KO's with either Mega Golurk poltergeist or Kingambit Kowtow Cleave

I love her crazy special attack stat to I open to make her full offense and it works really well
Other things that can go over the magic powder is protect, mystic fire,
I seen after me on a team with a fast pokemon even
I can see that, I love hat too
My problem is I'm having a lot of trouble keeping them alive, bc hat is weak to the big three
I play her in the back always tbh. For this reason
I use farig to set trick room
It’s just so reliable at not dying
So even w/ a kind of max bulk hat that can click magic powder (which i was kinda going for) I'm having trouble

The conk slot is very interchangeable
King is best their tbh

I felt I needed farig just for the prio protection in trick room or they’ll waste my important turns
What if instead of conk your last pokemon was mega crab?

Mostly because he has Mach punch so he fills the role perfectly

I was using torkoal for a long time but it felt kind of redundant
So I put sunny day on whimsicott and then suck ass against rain
highkey the biggest problems for this team is rain and garchomp
Your team is very similar design to my early tr teams.
I used mega Crab to climb to masterball in the first season it was very easy and he destroys chomp and pretty much anything in his way

I found torkoal as a great late game clean up mon or something to remove weather but I also only brought him occasionally.
My whole strategy was bring crab and drain punch everything to death 🤣 when I couldnt bring golurk. Ice Punch on golurk for chomp too
