High-Ranking TR Team Clefairy & Amoonguss

I have ! I can’t remember why but I landed on Clefairy being the better pick

I should test Amoongus some more

When I first started this team specs/scarf typhlosion was very popular . My tera water + clef was eruption defence haha

Hard TR sometimes tries to avoid protect .

Amoongus is odd tho I have no much experience with it either

Swapped dark pulse back for mystical fire

It was doing very low damage

Sometimes ! Protect on indeedee creates a mind game means it most likely does need to be on Amoongus

What about brute bonnet

My first issue with him is him and king slightly over lap

Just with the sucker punches

It is! I have tried him a little bit haha

People are scared of it

They opt to delete him asap

Unsure exactly just anytime I brought him he was just instantly removed
Unsure if they targeted him or if he fell to easy .

I was looking at vavillion and maushold for their friend gaurd but Amoongus and indeedee better then them
I do have a hard time not having Clefairy haha

I have always danced around the idea of iron hands ! King just worked better I guess with the incin spam

I’ve also considered swapping low kick on king for brick break !

It honestly would it’s quite balanced

Brute bonnet I think might be the key

Bringing indeedee and Amoongus or indeedee and Clefairy can feel passive

Brute bonnet has some offensive pressure also

He would go really good on that team. The amount of time I’ve spent trying to find a Clefairy replacement is crazy

It’s more defensive then amoongus on defence and has same speed stat and move set lol

Item restriction makes it pointless to use it over Amoongus haha

And hits way harder then it should

I’ve considered chandelure

Heatwave just doesn’t hit as hard and lower accuracy

Chandelure has a beautiful spa stat tho and ability

It Shadow ball is most likely second only to fluttermane

He would lol I guess king does also but it’s two hits if I didn’t catch a defiance boost

They often run focas sash ?

Think I need to commit to amoongus but not coba berry

Choice band dragonite I think could be good

End game cleaners with priority are good in this set up

hey so i personally dont enjoy amoongus and shroomish was just a joke but he does actually work lol

if theirs neither of them two i could consider the rock ogerpon he is a good redirection but and can give the team another mode

ursaluna is a good pick

hard to explain but yeah youre right and the answer was farifraf, also helps SO much with my rillaboom match up

theirs a few variants of this team let me check it out

yeah so this team is amazing, i almost never brought clefairy tho unless i was expecting spread attackers that indeedee couldnt save hatterene against, like choice band arcanine next to fluttermane, hatterne couldnt tank that spread damage without clefiarys friend gaurd. and then also in the t TR mirror match.

clefairy made that easy

then i added grass terra to help with amoongus and rilla

but then after abit of testing i changed to throat spray farifiraf

i liked he also had some offfesive value

because if by some bad chance you ended up with indeedee and clef on the field at the same time youre basically screwed.

that passive trade i consider for torkoals crazy spread damage

and also hatterne was changed to psyhic terra

to make her more offensive

but water tera is like gaurantee trick room in my opinon

more defesive pick

huge difference in changing hatts terras.

ill try find you some other versions theyre in here im sure
