Im hoping to bring this team for the upcoming tournament so i want some advice on changes i can do to the team
Ill do my best interpretation of my current team
(Havent settled on evs)
M GOLISOPOD
Running swords dance to boost my attack
Leech life for healing and liquadation to hit fire types
Setup guy
PELIPPER
Hits fire types for super effective damage
Sets up rain and provides good supportive tools like tailwind and wide guard
ARCHAULDON
Takes advantage of the rain
Another setup option and a good special attacker
GRIMMSNARL
Sets screens to increase my bulky attackers bulk and completes my fantasy core
Gives me a relatively bulky switch in
BASCULEIGON
An offensive mon w good offensive abilities
Patches up matchups aganist gholdengo and other ghost types( and fire types)
Hits hard w wave crash in the rain
GARCHOMP
Helps aganist zard y and raichu and hisuian arcinane
Good offensive coverage and gives me access to some spread damage
Main idea/gameplan:Boost up w golisopod or arch maintain weather control and deal consistent damage with basc or chomp

I run it for fires but i could try iron head or cc to hit opposing steels
Like the idea but im interested in few matchups from your perspecitve, first sunrain team that finished second in Baltimore, second Staraptor Yaichu with H Arcanine, Sneasler with Grassy seed next to Rilla also how would you deal with most sand teams?
Ive acc played aganist those teams on ladder
Aganist the sunrain team i bring arch grim chomp and pelipper and aim to knock out their zard mitigate the power of arch and postion for an endgame where my chomp and arch are facing off a low hp or not boosted arch
This matchup is even and all i need to do is play well
And aganist the Staraptor Yaichu team its a bit of a tough matchup w rilla and yaichu being able to cook me hard if im not too careful
How ill deal w them is to use chomp to get rid of yaichu golisopod to deal w rilla
Basculeigon for some good burst damage and peli/grim depending on what i felt was right
And w sand teams ill use golisopod to deal w ttar and possibly exacrdill and indeedee if they have it
Pelipper for wide guard support and weather control
Garchomp to deal w most of the team giving me good ground damage into most sand teams
Arch/basc/grimm depending on the team
Id say this matchup is a good one
Matches w this team have gone alr but ive lost a couple of games thanks to losing plays and bad leads and brings
So ill probably need more practice matches

It gives me more answers to fire type mons gives me a way to hit ghosts like gholdengo but im free to change that slot with a mon you would like instead

What would you say is farigs job on this team
I would say that farig is mainly here to set up tr for kingambit and golisopod block priority and it allows me to helping hand+ blow up a lot of stuff up with zchomp
Does having trick room pay off mostly?
I havent done enough pratice with the team yet but id say it pays off since the team is overall slow

Cuz since goilso is so slow sucker punch helps it to atleast deal good damage before my opponents attack and is like u said useful in gholdengo and other ghost types

The main idea is that staraptor can be brought aganist sand and matchups that delphox hates and they synergise pretty well together
Delphox with nasty plot can set up and sweep
But now idk what to add next
Ideally i would like some speed control fake out redirection and probs more offense

This is an updated version of the team,replacing kingambit for gholdengo
Why I did so was that gholdengo gives my team spread damage, a more favourable matchup into fighting types, and a sleep powder immunity
Ill have to test and see if gholdengo is the right choice tho and aganist opposing gholdengo ill need to play carefully
