I haven't played a lot lately but will be attending a VGC challenge tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure what the meta is like atm so I wanted some insight on the two teams I'm considering. Any advice or changes?
I don’t advise running both rillaboom and whimsicott
Anyways, there is a winning regional team thats pretty similar to this
It serves multiple roles. It can stop TR, set it up if needed, counter priority and helping hand for ChompZ
The first one looks best
Probably make a few changes though
yeah I wasn't sure about Rilla, added him mainly to counter psychic terrain
Swap kingambit for incineroar
And chompz for scarfed chomp
You will want to solo mega most of the time
But chompz works as well I guess
And grass coverage is really important
I would do solar beam/leaf storm over earth power on venu
Garchomp already provides the ground coverage
fair, earth power sounded nice against Arch. I can consider Incin as well
tyty
do you remember which player or regional?
Joseph Ugarte
I forgot what regional he won
But it was a very recent one
