VGC Team Building Help: Climbing to Master Ball

Summary

The Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments community is actively discussing competitive team building strategies to help players climb from Ultra Ball to Master Ball. This thread covers critical analysis of team synergy, including the impact of terrain on moves like Earthquake and the optimization of held items. It serves as a valuable resource for trainers looking to refine their competitive builds and improve their mid-game decision making.

I made this team with no overlapping typings. How can I win with this setup? Are my typings and weakness coverage good? I have some ideas on running as opening but after quite a while in the mid-game, I lose the momentum. Kind of need some coaching on how I can run this team better. I am currently in ultra ball 2 and plan to reach master ball with this team. Some advices would help. I still doubt myself in battles and keep making the wrong call, which could sometimes cost me my win.

I could help you once I'm home
But I think we need to do a whole rework on the team
for example eq levitate is quite bad rn, considering grassy terrain halfs earthquake damage
so now its just 50 basepower
but its also a spread move, reducing the damage down to 0.75x
so now its a 37,5 basepower move

we didnt even consider intimidate or the bizzare decission of protect on a choice holder

protect was there because of my previous chomp build which is just a heavy attacker spread. I swapped it out with poison jab instead

amberember-33 OP

I tried to use scarf jolly chomp to ragebait my opponents and it (kind of?) works

amberember-33 OP

I never bring it in grass terrain cases
