Darkitsu Community Safety Update
Summary
Darkitsu announces that four members were banned: two for inappropriate behavior involving minors and adults, and two for defending that behavior. The announcement reinforces that adults and minors must never interact sexually, urges reporting of incidents in-server or via DMs, encourages minors to seek help, and asks members not to rehash the situation in the server.
We banned 4 people today
2 for being inappropriate towards adults and minors, and 2 for arguing about it and defending the behavior
It's WEIRD and borderline pedophilia to, as an adult, be okay with and encourage a little kid being inappropriate and sexual towards you.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is free to leave.
Regardless of what YOU think is a joke, it's not okay for an adult to inappropriately interact with minors and for minors to inappropriately interact with adults. A 'joke' does not take away consequences. If you see any of this occurring either in the server or via DM's, please let someone know.
If you are a minor, do not be afraid to tell someone if an adult is being inappropriate towards you. We are here to help!!
If you are ever confused on if something is okay, please check #rules or ask someone else!
We ask that you don't bring this situation up again in the server. You can talk about it in DM's or whatever, but lets not talk about it here. 🙏
