✨ Phantom Recorder 1.16.0
TikTok stories — the one thing here that cannot be fetched later. Plus a library you can actually look at.
New: TikTok stories
A TikTok story is an ordinary post with an expiry hung off it — same address, same data, gone 24 hours after it goes up. It is never in the post grid, so the profile walk went straight past them. It hangs off the profile picture, behind the ring.
- Stories mode on the TikTok downloader — an account name, and what it has up right now.
- TikTok Story Watch — a third watcher beside Instagram and Snapchat, saving stories before the day runs out.
- Tiles show how long is left.
The cheap part comes first: whether a story is running at all is one plain page request. A browser window opens only where the answer is yes — ten accounts cost ten requests a round.
The library is now a wall of pictures
It was a table, and the column that mattered was a thumbnail 36 pixels wide. Now the picture is the size of a picture, with the three things that place it underneath — whose it is, where it came from, when it landed. Four tile sizes, sorting, search.
Fixed
- Live recordings were filed under the wrong thing. A recording goes straight to <output>/<account>/, with no folder naming the kind — so the account name landed in the source column and the account came out blank. On a machine that mostly records, that was every entry.
- Refresh emptied every tile. The pictures were kept, but the check that used them was the wrong way round: a rebuilt tile asked, was told "already have one", and never got it.
